that the dates for the Commencement of Annual
Examination, 2008 & receipt of admission
forms & Fee from the Fresh Regular &
Private Candidates of M.A. / M.Sc. Part-I
and M.A. / M.Sc. (Comprehensive / Composite)
Private / Late University / Late College
failed candidates only have been fixed as
under:
1.
Date of Commencement of Examination = 26-8-2008
(Tuesday)
2. Last Date for Receipt of Admission forms
& Fee
Without late fee = 18-6-2008 (Wednesday)
3. Last Date for Receipt of Admission forms
& Fee
with late fee Rs.400/- = 28-6-2008 (Saturday)
4. Last Date with double fee = 14-7-2008
(Monday)
5. Fee Schedule:-
i) Admission Fee M.A. Part-I (For Fresh
candidates only) = Rs. 1100/-
ii) Admission Fee M.Sc. Part-I (For Fresh
candidates only) = Rs. 1400/-
iii) Admission Fee ( M.A. Comprehensive/Composite)
Examination = Rs.1250/-
iv) Admission Fee ( M.Sc. Comprehensive/Composite)
Examination = Rs.1400/
v) Registration Fee (if not already registered
with I.U.B.) = Rs.600/-
vi) Out of Jurisdiction Fee (For those residing
out of territorial limits of the I.U.B)
= Rs.1600/-
6. The Examination Centres will be constituted
at Bahawalpur, Chishtian, Bahawalnagar,
Khanpur and Rahimyar Khan Cities. The candidates
desiring to appear from any of these examination
centres should clearly write name of examination
centre of their choice in the specified
column on the front page of admission form.
7. Eligibility for the Fresh Private and
Regular College Candidates:- All the Regular
& Private fresh candidates who have
completed one year of graduation are eligible
to appear in M.A./M.Sc. Part-I Annual Examination,
2008.
8. Eligibility for the Private/Late University/Late
College Candidates:- All the Regular &
Private candidates who failed in M.A./M.Sc.
(Comprehensive/Composite) Supplementary
Examination, 2007 or prior thereto and have
chance/s on their credit can appear in their
failed papers.
Note:- Failed candidates of M.A./M.Sc. Supplementary
Examination, 2007 can submit their Admission
forms & fee within fifteen (15) days
of the declaration of their results. Such
candidates can download the result &
admission form from the website (www.iub.edu.pk)
and attach its attested copy, in case they
do not receive failed result card &
admission form.
9. Submission of Admission forms & Fee:-
(i) Late University/Late College Candidates
should submit their admission forms and
Fee duly attested by their Chairmen/Heads
of respective Departments/Principals of
the concerned Colleges.
(ii) External/Private candidates
of M.A./M.Sc. Part-I should send their attested
admission forms directly to the Controller
of Examinations, the Islamia University
of Bahawalpur. The admission forms must
accompany Migration Certificate/NOC in original
& attested copy of pass result card
/ degree. The candidates of Bahawalpur Division
can deposit their Admission Fee in designated
branches of HBL in the Division. The candidates
other than Bahawalpur Division can deposit
the admission fee in the following Branches
of HBL in CD-1 Account through the University
Bank Challan.

10. Admission forms can
be had from respective colleges, designated
branches of HBL and may be
downloaded from website: www.iub.edu.pk
Admission form and fee
should reach the Controller of Examinations
within the dates fixed for the receipt of
admission forms & fee mentioned above.
All the female and male candidates are directed
to affix their own 3 passport size recent
photographs as well as original bank challan
of fee on the admission form at the specified
places. Incomplete forms and the forms received
after the last date will not be entertained.
