It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the dates for the Commencement of Annual Examination, 2011 & receipt of admission forms & Fee from the Fresh & Failed Regular College Candidates of M.A./M.Sc. (Previous / Final/Comprehensive/Composite) & Private failed candidates of M.A. Part-I / M.A. Part-II and fresh private candidates of M.A. (Composite) have been fixed as under:-
1.    Date of Commencement of Examination                                      =               24-8-2011 (Wednesday)
2.    Last Date for Receipt of Admission forms & Fee Without late fee   =               04-6-2011 (Saturday)
3.   Last Date for Receipt of Admission forms & Fee with late fee Rs.1000/-   =             14-6-2011 (Tuesday)
4.   Last Date with double fee                                                                =               24-7-2011 (Monday)
5.   Fee Schedule:-

i)    Admission Fee for failed candidates only

      M.A. each part (Part-I or M.A. Part-II)                                                    =     Rs.2000/-

ii)   Admission Fee M.A. Previous or Final (Regular College students)                  =     Rs.2000/-

iii)  Admission Fee M.Sc. Previous or Final (Regular College students)                 =     Rs.2100/-

iv)  Admission Fee for Late College students of M.A./M.Sc.                                =     Rs.8000/-

Admission Fee (Private Fresh candidates of M.A. Composite)

belonging inside the territorial limits of the University.                                         =     Rs.8000/-

Admission Fee ( Private Fresh candidates of M.A. Composite)

belonging outside the territorial limits of the University.                                       =     Rs.15000/-


6.   Examination Centres will be constituted at Bahawalpur, Chishtian, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur and Rahimyar Khan Cities.  Private candidates desirous to appear from any of these examination centres should clearly write the name of examination centre of their choice in the specified column on the front page of the admission form. Regular/LCC (Fresh and Failed) College Students will appear at the centres allotted according to their respective college location/allocation.
7.   Eligibility for the Fresh Private Candidates:- All fresh Private  candidates who have completed two year after graduation are eligible to appear in M.A. Composite First Annual Examination, 2011.
8.   Eligibility for the Failed Private/Late University/Late College Candidates:-                                                  
All Regular &   Private candidates who have failed in M.A./M.Sc. (Comprehensive /Composite /Previous / Final), M.A. Part-I and Part-II Supplementary Examination, 2010 or prior thereto and have chance/s on their credit can appear in their failed papers.
Note:- Failed candidates of M.A./M.Sc. Supplementary Examination, 2010 may submit their Admission forms & fee within 15 days of  the declaration of their results or the last date noted above, whichever is later. The results of Supplementary Examination, 2010 are expected to be declared in June/July, 2011.  The candidates who do not receive failed result card & admission form can download the result & admission form & bank challan from the website ( and attach its attested copy. Candidates passing M.A. Part-I examination completely in the Annual Examination, 2010 and those who will pass their M.A. Part-I examination in Supplementary Examination, 2010 in their last chance will also be eligible to appear in M.A. Part-II examination in the Annual Examination, 2011.
9.   Submission of Admission forms & Fee:-
(i)  Late University/Late College Candidates should submit their admission forms and Fee duly attested by their Chairmen/Heads of respective Departments/Principals of the concerned Colleges.
(ii) External/Private candidates of M.A. Part-I & Part-II and M.A. Composite should send their attested admission forms directly to the Controller of Examinations, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The admission forms must accompany Migration Certificate/NOC in original & attested copy of pass result card / degree. The candidates of Bahawalpur Division can deposit their Admission Fee in designated branches of HBL in the Division. The candidates other than Bahawalpur Division can deposit the admission fee in the following Branches of HBL in CD-1 Account through the University Bank Challan.

10.   Admission forms and bank challan can be obtained from the respective colleges, designated branches of HBL and may be downloaded from website:

11.  Admission form and fee should reach the Controller of Examinations within the dates fixed for the receipt of admission forms & fee mentioned above. All the female and male candidates are directed to affix their 3 attested passport size recent photographs as well as original bank challan of fee on the admission form at the specified places. Incomplete forms and the forms received after the last date will not be entertained.
Note:-  The admission forms of M.A. /M.Sc. shall be entertained with double the ordinary admission fee at least thirty (30) days before the date of commencement of examination. No admission forms will be entertained after the expiry of the last date with double fee under any circumstances.
