A 41 member contingent of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur left for Quetta to participate in Karwan-e-Yakjehti organized by the Higher Education Commission. The members included 13 girls and 26 boys students along with two teachers. The delegation was given warm send off and Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was also present on the occasion. He said that our students will join students of other universities from across Pakistan to express solidarity with brethren of Balochistan. He advised students to present Bahawalpuri culture and traditions in effective way during Jashan-e-Azadi celebrations in Quetta. The participants pledged to dedicate their efforts for unity, sovereignty and betterment of the motherland.
