A motivational & informative session and road show regarding the Chief Minister's Youth Initiative Program

Provincial Transport Minister Bilal Akbar has said that the Chief Minister Youth Initiative is an education-friendly initiative for students on behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. According to which the Punjab government has allocated a huge amount of 1 billion rupees as a subsidy for the provision of motorbikes free of interest in connection with the independence of students. He said this while speaking to the participants of the webinar about the importance and usefulness of the Chief Minister's Youth Initiative to the students in a function held at Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi Hall the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Farooq Qamar, Secretary Regional Transport Authority Urooj Fatima, officers of Bank of Punjab, teachers of educational institutions, officers and students were present in the ceremony. The Provincial Minister said that under this program, students will be able to get their own environment-friendly transport and students over 18 years of age who are studying in regular degree colleges and universities approved by the Higher Education Commission will be eligible to get a motorcycle. He said that students who have a motorcycle learner permit or license can submit an application for acquiring a motorcycle under this program. Provincial Transport Minister Bilal Akbar directed that institutions and other places for the convenience of students Information desks should be set up. Provincial Transport Minister Bilal Akbar answered the questions of the students through video link. Secretary Transport and Master Transit Department Dr. Ahmad Javed Qazi while addressing the webinar said that under the Chief Minister Punjab Students Initiative, 19,000 petrol motorcycles and 1000 electric bikes will be given to the students of Bahawalpur, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad in the first phase. He informed the students about the importance and details of this program. He said that students should apply online at bikes.punjab.gov.pk and for more information and details they can contact 042-111-333-267. Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar expressed his views through a video link. He appreciated the initiative of Punjab government. He said that the students will make full use of the initiative of Chief Minister Punjab. He said that motorbikes have been placed in the stalls to guide the students. After the ceremony, a road show was organized in which the students took a test ride of the electric bikes in the university area.

صوبائی وزیر ٹرانسپورٹ بلال اکبر نے کہا ہے کہ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کی جانب سے طلبہ و طالبات کے لئے چیف منسٹر یوتھ انیشیٹو تعلیم دوست اقدام ہے جس کے تحت حکومت پنجاب نے طلباء و طالبات کی خود مختاری کے سلسلے میں بلا سود موٹر بائیکس کی فراہمی کے لئے 1 ارب روپے کی خطیر رقم بطور سبسڈی مختص ہے۔ یہ بات انھوں نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور غلام محمد گھوٹوی ہال میں منعقدہ تقریب میں طلباء و طالبات کو چیف منسٹر یوتھ انیشیٹو کی اہمیت و افادیت سے آگہی کے متعلق ویبنار کے شرکا سے ویڈیو لنک کے ذریعے اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ تقریب میں ایڈیشنل ڈپٹی کمشنر فنانس فاروق قمر، سیکرٹری ریجنل ٹرانسپورٹ اتھارٹی عروج فاطمہ، بینک آف پنجاب کے افسران، تعلیمی اداروں کے اساتذہ، افسران اور طلبہ و طالبات موجود تھے۔ صوبائی وزیر نے کہا کہ اس پروگرام کے تحت طلبہ و طالبات کو اپنی ذاتی ماحول دوست ٹرانسپورٹ کا حصول ممکن ہوگا اور 18 سال سے زائد عمر کے طلبہ جو ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن سے منظور شدہ باقاعدہ ڈگری کالج و یونیورسٹی میں زیر تعلیم ہیں موٹر سائیکل کے حصول کے اہل ہوں گے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ ایسے طلبہ و طالبات جو موٹرسائیکل لرنر پرمٹ یا لائسنس کے حامل ہیں وہ اس پروگرام کے تحت موٹر سائیکل حصول کے لیے درخواست جمع کراسکتے ہیں۔ صوبائی وزیر ٹرانسپورٹ بلال اکبر نے ہدایت کی کہ طلباء کی سہولت کے لئے ادارہ اور دیگر مقامات پر انفارمیشن ڈیسک قائم کیے جائیں۔ صوبائی وزیر ٹرانسپورٹ بلال اکبر نے ویڈیو لنک کے ذریعہ طلباء کے سوالات کے جوابات دیئے۔ سیکرٹری ٹرانسپورٹ اینڈ ماسٹرانزٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ ڈاکٹر احمد جاوید قاضی نے ویبنار سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب سٹوڈنٹس انیشیٹو کے تحت پہلے فیز میں صوبے کے مختلف اضلاع بہاولپور، ملتان، لاہور، راولپنڈی اور فیصل آباد کے طلبا و طالبات کو 19 ہزار پٹرول موٹر بائیکس اور ایک ہزار الیکٹرک بائیکس دی جائیں گی۔ انہوں نے طلباء کو اس پروگرام کی اہمیت اور تفصیلات سے آگاہ کیا۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ طلباء آن لائن bikes.punjab.gov.pk اپلائی کریں اور مزید معلومات و تفصیلات کے لیے 042-111-333-267 نمبر رابطہ کرسکتے ہیں۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے ویڈیو لنک کے ذریعہ اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے حکومت پنجاب کے اقدام کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ طلباء وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب کے انیشیٹو سے بھر پور استفادہ کریں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ طلباء کی راہنمائی کے لئے سٹالز میں موٹر بائیکس رکھے گئے ہیں۔ تقریب کے بعد روڈ شو کا اہتمام کیا گیا جس میں طلباء نے الیکٹرک بائیکس کی یونیورسٹی ایریا میں ٹیسٹ رائیڈ لی۔
