The Islamia University of Bahawalpur provides opportunities for students to participate in various sports activities. The university established a fully equipped Sports Complex with a gym and indoor games facilities like badminton, table tennis, basket ball, handball, wrestling, volleyball, tug of war, Kabaddi, boxing, squash court, and many more. Moreover, outdoor sports facilities like athletics, cricket stadiums, football stadiums, hockey stadiums, rugby, shooting range, archery range, and jogging tracks are also available separately for the male and female students with coaching facilities. Cash prizes and sports scholarships are also awarded to appreciate student athletes who won gold medals at inter-varsity, provincial, and national level competitions.
