Department of English Linguistics will host a public defense for PhD candidate Ms. Ezzah Shakil on February 16, 2026.

The Department of English Linguistics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur will host a public defense for Ph.D candidate, Ms. Ezzah Shakil at 11:30 a.m. on February 16th, 2026. Ms. Ezzah Shakil will defend her doctoral dissertation titled "Exploring ESL Learners' Analytical Writing Proficiency Through Digital Writing Platforms and Paper-Based Writing Mode: A Comparative Study at Graduate Level." She conducted her research under the supervision of Dr. Sadaf Siddiq. In this open defense, Prof. Dr. Saiqa Imtiaz Asif, Former Vice Chancellor, Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur, will serve as the external examiner. This academic event will held at the Video Conference Room, Khawaja Ghulam Farid  Auditorium, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
