IUB has become the first university in South Punjab to provide scholarships of more than 800 million rupees

Islamia University Bahawalpur has become the first university in South Punjab to provide scholarships of more than 800 million rupees. This was expressed by Director Financial Aid Office Islamia University Bahawalpur Professor Dr. Areeba Khan, while talking to a group of students who wanted to enter the university. She said that Islamia University Bahawalpur is among the universities providing the most scholarships in Punjab and is the top in South Punjab. She added that funds for scholarships have been substantially increased in the recent budget by the federal and provincial governments. The students of Islamia University Bahawalpur will also get more scholarships now. She asked the incoming students not to make financial problems a hindrance in pursuing higher education and feel free to apply to the university as there are a large number of scholarships available after admission. Some scholarships are worth so much that they easily cover the fees as well as living expenses. Dr. Areeba Khan said that this year, it is expected to get scholarships worth crores of rupees from Benazir Income Support Program, PEEF, Prime Minister's Fee Refund Scheme, HEC Need Based Scholarship Program, apart from fee waiver and fee discount and many other sources.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور 80 کروڑ روپے سے زائد وظائف فراہم کرنے والی جنوبی پنجاب کی سب سے پہلی یونیورسٹی بن گئی ہے۔ اس بات کا اظہار ڈائریکٹر فنانشل ایڈ آفس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اریبہ خان نے یونیورسٹی میں داخلہ کے خواہشمند طلباء وطالبات کے ایک گروپ سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پنجاب کی سب سے زیادہ وظائف فراہم کرنے والی جامعات میں شامل ہے اور جنوبی پنجاب میں سرفہرست ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کی جانب سے حالیہ بجٹ میں وظائف کے لئے فنڈز میں خاطر خواہ اضافہ کردیا گیا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے طلباء وطالبات کو بھی اب پہلے سے زیادہ سکالرشپ ملیں گے۔ انہوں نے نئے آنیوالے طلباء و طالبات سے کہا کہ مالی پریشانی کو اعلی تعلیم کے حصول میں رکاوٹ نہ بنائیں۔ بلاجھجک یونیورسٹی میں اپلائی کریں کیونکہ داخلے کے بعد بڑی تعداد میں وظائف دستیاب ہیں۔ بعض وظائف تو اتنی مالیت کے ہوتے ہیں کہ ان سے فیس کے ساتھ ساتھ رہائش کے اخراجات بھی باآسانی پورے ہوجاتے ہیں۔ ڈاکٹر اریبہ خان نے کہا کہ اس سال بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام، وزیراعظم فیس واپسی سکیم، پیف وظائف، آیچ ای سی نیڈ بیسڈ سکالرشپ پروگرام اور فیس رعایت و دیگر کئی ذرائع سے کروڑوں روپے کے سکالرشپ ملنے کی توقع ہے۔
