IUB Security Division and law enforcement agencies organized a mock security exercise at Abbasia Campus

Security Division the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and law enforcement agencies of District Bahawalpur organized a mock security exercise at Abbasia Campus. Chief Security Officer Abdul Wadood said that the purpose of this important security exercise organized under the special direction of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar is to keep the security agencies active and alert for the protection of the students, teachers and employees present in the campus. Training of personnel within the Security Division and with the support of other law enforcement agencies has been going on for some time now. In the mock exercise held today, security agencies, district police, Rangers, Rescue 1122, Dolphin Force, Special Branch, and Bomb Disposal Squad were trained to handle any emergency situation. Experts from other institutions appreciated the performance of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Security Division and provided special lectures and training in this regard. Chief Security Officer Abdul Wadood and Security Officer Muhammad Aseem Asim thanked the law enforcement agencies for their cooperation in conducting the mock exercise.

سیکورٹی ڈویژن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور ضلع بہاول پور کے قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے اشتراک سے عباسیہ کیمپس میں علامتی سیکورٹی مشق (موک ایکسرسائز) کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ چیف سیکورٹی آفیسر عبدالودود نے کہا کہ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی خصوصی ہدایت پر منعقد کی جانے والی اس اہم سیکورٹی مشق کا مقصد کیمپس میں موجود طلباء وطالبات، اساتذہ اور ملازمین کے تحفظ کے لیے سیکورٹی اداروں کو مستعد اور چاق وچوبند رکھنا ہے۔ گزشتہ کچھ عرصے سے سیکورٹی ڈویژن کے اندر اور دیگر قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے تعاون سے اہلکاروں کی تربیت کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔ آج منعقد ہونے والی فرضی مشق میں سیکورٹی اداروں، ضلعی پولیس، رینجرز، ریسکیو 1122، ڈولفن فورس، اسپیشل برانچ، بم ڈسپوزل سکواڈ کے ساتھ ملکر کسی بھی ناگہانی صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لیے مشقیں کی گئیں۔ دیگر اداروں سے آئے ہوئے ماہرین نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور سیکورٹی ڈویژن کی کارکردگی کو سراہا اور اس حوالے سے خصوصی لیکچر و تربیت فراہم کی۔ چیف سیکورٹی آفیسرعبدالودود اور سیکورٹی آفیسر محمد عصیم عاصم نے فرضی مشق کے انعقاد پر قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے تعاون پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔
