The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Solidifies Global Standing in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, Achieves World Rank 330 in Research Quality 
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has solidified its position as a leading global academic institution, maintaining its spot in the highly competitive *801–1000 band in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.  This achievement stands out among a significantly larger field of evaluated institutions (2,191 worldwide, up from 2,092 last year). The Islamia University of Bahawalpur secured an impressive National Rank of 10 out of 48 ranked Pakistani universities, demonstrating consistency and leadership in the nation's higher education sector. Notably, the university attained a substantial increase in its overall performance score, rising from 34.5–38.1 to 35.5–38.9. The most significant highlight of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur's performance is its unprecedented success in the Research Quality pillar, the highest-ranked metric for the institution. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur jumped an impressive 112 positions in Research Quality, soaring from a rank of 442 in the 2025 edition to 330 worldwide in 2026. The pillar score surged from 75.7 to 80.3, driven by substantial improvements across all sub-indicators, including Citation Impact (84.1 to 87.3) and Research Excellence (69.8 to 78.0). This exceptional performance underscores the tangible impact and influence of research originating from IUB on the global academic stage. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, expressed immense pride in the institution's success. بہاولپور (پ ر) جامعات کی رینکنگ کے عالمی ادارے ٹائمز ہائر ایجوکیشن نے ورلڈ یونیورسٹی رینکنگ برائے سال 2026 جاری کردی ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور عالمی سطح پر پہلی 801 اور قومی سطح پر پہلی 10 جامعات میں شامل ہوگئی ہے اور تحقیقی معیار میں عالمی درجہ 330 حاصل کیا۔ وائس چانسلراسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے ادارے کی کامیابی پر اظہار مسرت کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ  تحقیق کے معیار میں عالمی سطح پر 330 کی درجہ بندی حاصل کرتے ہوئے اپنی عالمی پوزیشن کو برقرار رکھنا ایک یادگار کامیابی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ ہمارے معزز محققین فیکلٹی اور تعلیمی عملے کی محنت لگن اور تحقیق کا ثبوت ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی کمیونٹی کے ہر فرد اور کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل کی پوری ٹیم کی محنت لگن کو سراہا۔ ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اسداللہ مدنی نے کہا ہے کہ مجموعی طور پر عالمی درجہ بندی میں شامل کی گئی 2191 جامعات میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور دنیا کی 801-1000 جامعات کی فہرست میں شامل ہوگئی ہے۔ پاکستان میں قومی سطح پر 48 جامعات کو درجہ بندی میں شامل کیا گیا اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پہلی 10 جامعات میں شامل ہوئی ہے۔ رینکنگ کے اہم ترین پیمانوں میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا نمایاں سکور سامنے آیا ہے۔خاص طور پر یونیورسٹی نے اپنے مجموعی کارکردگی کے اسکور میں خاطر خواہ اضافہ حاصل کیاجو 34.5–38.1 سے بڑھ کر 35.5–38.9 تک پہنچ گیا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے ریسرچ کوالٹی میں 112 پوزیشنوں میں شاندارکامیابی حاصل کی ہے جو 2025 کے ایڈیشن میں 442 کے رینک سے بڑھ کر 2026 میں دنیا بھر میں 330 پر پہنچ گئی۔ماحولیاتی سماجی علوم اور گورننس کےشعبوں کے معیار میں بہتری آئی ہے اور سکور 75.7 سے بڑھ کر 80.3 ہو گیا جس میں تمام ذیلی اشاریوں میں خاطر خواہ بہتری آئی ہے۔یہ غیر معمولی کارکردگی عالمی تعلیمی مرحلے پراسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورکی تحقیق کے ٹھوس اثرات اور اثر کو واضح کرتی ہے۔ڈائریکٹرکوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اسداللہ مدنی  نے کہاکہ یہ نتائج یونیورسٹی کے معزز فیکلٹی اور سرشار انتظامی عملے کے ساتھ شراکت میں کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل کی طرف سے نافذ کردہ توجہ مرکوز حکمت عملیوں کی توثیق کرتے ہیں۔آگے بڑھتے ہوئے ہم ادارہ جاتی کارکردگی ڈیٹا کی سالمیت اور اسٹریٹجک عالمی مصروفیت پر توجہ مرکوز کر رہے ہیں تاکہ یہ یقینی بنایا جا سکے کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور تحقیقی معیار کو بہتر تعلیمی ساکھ میں تبدیل کر کےعالمی جامعات میں شامل ہو رہی ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اسداللہ مدنی نے اساتذہ اور طلبا و طالبات کو مبارکباد دی ہے۔ تعلیمی حلقوں نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی عالمی اور قومی سطح پر درجہ بندی میں غیر معمولی بہتری کو سراہتے ہوئے اسے علاقے کی سماجی تعلیمی اور معاشی ترقی کے لیے نیک شگون قرار دیا ہے۔
