The Medical and Health Division of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in collaboration with the University College of Nursing and IUB Anti-Narcotics and Healthcare Society, organized an awareness seminar on hepatitis to educate students and participants about the prevention, early detection and treatment of the disease. Prof. Dr. Qazi Masroor Ali delivered an informative and comprehensive lecture on hepatitis. He highlighted the causes, symptoms, modes of transmission and preventive measures associated with hepatitis. He emphasized that timely diagnosis, appropriate medical consultation and adoption of healthy practices are essential for preventing the spread of the disease. Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy & Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences while speaking on the occasion, elaborated on the importance of hepatitis prevention. She stressed the significance of health education and awareness in reducing the prevalence of hepatitis and encouraged participants to adopt preventive measures in their daily lives. The seminar was attended by Dr. Muhammad Usman Cheema, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Maleeha Ejaz, Principal Medical Officer, Dr. Farhan Mukhtar, Principal, University College of Nursing, along with large number of faculty members and students.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے میڈیکل اینڈ ہیلتھ ڈویژن نے یونیورسٹی کالج آف نرسنگ اور آئی یو بی اینٹی نارکوٹکس اینڈ ہیلتھ کیئر سوسائٹی کے اشتراک سے ہیپاٹائٹس کے بارے میں ایک آگاہی سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا، جس کا مقصد طلبہ اور شرکاء کو اس بیماری کی روک تھام، بروقت تشخیص اور علاج کے بارے میں آگاہ کرنا تھا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قاضی مسرور علی نے ہیپاٹائٹس پر ایک معلوماتی اور جامع لیکچر دیا۔ انہوں نے ہیپاٹائٹس کی وجوہات، علامات، پھیلاؤ کے ذرائع اور احتیاطی تدابیر پر روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ بیماری کے پھیلاؤ کو روکنے کے لیے بروقت تشخیص، مناسب طبی مشورہ اور صحت مند طرزِ زندگی اپنانا انتہائی ضروری ہے۔ فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی اور فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کی ڈین، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبین نے تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ہیپاٹائٹس کی روک تھام کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کیا۔ انہوں نے ہیپاٹائٹس کے پھیلاؤ کو کم کرنے میں صحت سے متعلق تعلیم اور آگاہی کی اہمیت پر زور دیا اور شرکاء کی حوصلہ افزائی کی کہ وہ اپنی روزمرہ کی زندگی میں احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کریں۔ سیمینار میں چیف میڈیکل آفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عثمان چیمہ، پرنسپل میڈیکل آفیسر ڈاکٹر ملیحہ اعجاز، یونیورسٹی کالج آف نرسنگ کے پرنسپل ڈاکٹر فرحان مختار کے علاوہ فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلبہ کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
