Application Instructions

Foreign nationals may submit their applications online at the University website eportal.iub.edu.pk along with scanned copies of the following documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered:

1. Create an IUB E-portal Account.
2. Apply according to admission openings twice a year.
3. Entry Test/Admission Requirements: If required, the student must pass the IUB NAT/GAT test in the first semester.
4. English version of certificates/marks sheets/degrees from home country.
5. Equivalence Certificate from IBCC for 12 years schooling and HEC for postgraduate programs.
6. Submit Equivalence Certificate within 60 days of provisional admission, else admission will be cancelled.
7. Recent passport size photographs with blue background.
8. Nomination letter or original NOC of concerned Embassy in Pakistan.
9. Copy of the first three pages of the Passport and entry page into Pakistan.
10. Medical fitness certificate for ‘admission in Pakistan’, countersigned by Pakistan Embassy.
11. Completed ‘Student Information Sheet’ as per University and HEC specimen.
12. Application form (Student visa form).

Procedure of Admission

The Higher Education Commission Islamabad and The University of Bahawalpur facilitate foreign students with administrative aspects of their application and study in Pakistan:

After preliminary eligibility, the University informs applicants about provisional admission, terms, and payment instructions.

Upon receipt of dues, the ‘Student Information Sheet’, visa application form, and provisional admission confirmation are forwarded to HEC Pakistan for processing of ‘student visa’ after security clearance.

If desired, applicants may visit Pakistan on a valid ‘visit visa’ during this process.
