2nd quarterly meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle for the session 2025-26 was held

The second quarterly meeting of the Institutional Quality Circle for the session 2025-26 was held at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran while Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Director QEC presented the agenda. The meeting discussed the current status of faculty policy, preparation of strategic plan and quarterly report of departmental activity. Assessment teams were formed to review academic programs. The draft of the institutional performance report was reviewed in detail. Approval of the Graduate Program Review (GPR) panel and involvement of internal and external experts were approved to ensure transparent and objective evaluation of graduate programs. The Vice Chancellor stressed the importance of aligning institutional quality with international standards. He said that the quality of teaching and research is directly linked to strict adherence to established standards and their effective implementation. The Vice Chancellor emphasized the strategic importance of internationalization and effective adoption of outcome-based education to align the university with global educational standards. The Director Quality Enhancement Cell also explained the way forward for updating the university website and timely collection of ranking data. The House was also apprised about the Leadership Engagement Program and Progress Review Meetings. It is heartening that the Quality Team of the Islamia University along with four other universities have received performance badges from the Higher Education Commission under the “Together for Quality Excellence Program” organized for the universities of South Punjab in Multan.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں سیشن 2025-26 کے لیے ادارہ جاتی کوالٹی سرکل کا دوسرا سہ ماہی اجلاس منعقد کیا گیا۔ اجلاس کی صدارت وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کی جبکہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسد اللہ مدنی، ڈائریکٹر کیو ای سی نے ایجنڈا پیش کیا۔ اجلاس میں فیکلٹی پالیسی کی موجودہ صورتحال، اسٹریٹجک پلان کی تیاری اور شعبہ جاتی سرگرمی کی سہ ماہی رپورٹ پیش کی گئی۔ تعلیمی پروگراموں کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے اسسمنٹ ٹیمیں تشکیل دی گئیں۔ ادارہ جاتی کارکردگی رپورٹ کے مسودے کا تفصیل سے جائزہ لیا گیا۔ گریجویٹ پروگرام ریویو (GPR) پینل کی منظوری اور اندرونی اور بیرونی ماہرین کی شمولیت کی منظوری دی گئی تاکہ گریجویٹ پروگراموں کی شفاف اور معروضی تشخیص کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ادارہ جاتی معیار کو بین الاقوامی معیارات کے ساتھ ہم آہنگ کرنے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔  انہوں نے کہا کہ تدریس اور تحقیق کا معیار براہ راست قائم شدہ معیارات کی سختی سے پابندی اور ان کے موثر نفاذ سے جڑا ہوا ہے۔  وائس چانسلر نے انٹرنیشنلائزیشن کی اسٹریٹجک اہمیت اور جامعہ کو عالمی تعلیمی معیارات کے ساتھ ہم آہنگ کرنے کے لیے نتائج پر مبنی تعلیم کو مؤثر طریقے سے اپنانے پر زور دیا۔  ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل نے یونیورسٹی کی ویب سائٹ کو اپ ڈیٹ کرنے اور درجہ بندی کے ڈیٹا کو بروقت جمع کرنے کے لیے آگے بڑھنے کا طریقہ بھی بتایا۔  ہاؤس کو لیڈرشپ انگیجمنٹ پروگرام اور پروگریس ریویو میٹنگز کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا گیا۔  یہ امر خوش آئند ہے کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی کی کوالٹی ٹیم نے چار دیگر یونیورسٹیوں کے ساتھ مل کر ملتان میں جنوبی پنجاب کی یونیورسٹیوں کے لیے منعقدہ "ٹوگیدر فار کوالٹی ایکسیلنس پروگرام" کے تحت ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن  سے کارکردگی کے بیجز حاصل کیے ہیں۔
