3rd International Conference on Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Business Research 2022 and Young Entrepreneurs Summit III

A three-day international conference on tourism, entrepreneurship and business research, organized by the Institute of Business, Management and Administrative Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has started today at the Baghdad- ul-Jeed Campus. 18 key speakers from UAE, Oman, France, Thailand and Pakistani universities are participating. In the opening session of the conference, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob said in his message that the participation of national and international delegates in the conference on tourism and entrepreneurship and business research is welcome. The theme of the conference is to examine the challenges and opportunities in light and dark aspects of the Covid-19 outbreak. From which business experts will focus on new research issues in tourism and business. During the Covid-19 epidemic, new trends were seen at all levels all over the world, especially due to the lockdown, business affairs were badly affected. Meanwhile, the tourism industry around the world was also affected. It also had positive effects and people prepared themselves to face the unseen challenges of the future. Especially in the field of tourism business, new possibilities have arisen. In this conference, business experts will surely inform the teachers and students about the business situation and trends of the post-Covid-19 world. Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal Dean Faculty of Management and Commerce has said that two events are being organized in the three-day conference, the first international conference in which a large number of national and international delegates are participating and the second event is the Young Entrepreneur Summit in which new business ideas are discussed. He said that more than 200 research papers will be read in the conference. This conference will benefit our students who will increase their research skills by benefiting from the experts participating in the conference. Apart from this, Young Entrepreneur Summit was also organized. Our undergraduate students come up with new ideas, there is no limit to being a business student only, they can also include students from engineering, pharmacy, veterinary and other disciplines. Currently we have 112 teams registered from 40 universities across Pakistan. Judges from the industry and business field will examine the ideas of these students and the best performing students will be awarded cash prizes so that they can run a business based on their idea. The main objective of this summit is to work on industry development in Bahawalpur region. Our students have many new ideas. We want people to focus on their own business and start their own small and medium businesses. Successful nations in the world are those who have progressed in business and industry, thus the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is playing its role in the economic development of Pakistan. Conference Secretary Dr. Muhammad Imran Rasheed welcomed all the domestic and foreign delegates and expressed special thanks to the Punjab Higher Education Commission for their collaboration and cooperation in the conference. The important topics of the conference are online education during the Covid-19 epidemic, corporate responsibilities of international organizations in the context of the corona epidemic, promotion of mobile business during the Covid-19 epidemic, trends of office hours after the Covid-19 epidemic, small and medium businesses. Impact of climate change, post-Covid-19 opportunities for women in business, gender disparity in workplaces, social and societal impacts of CPEC, technology-induced stress and business performance, green human resource management and environmental performance, Major topics like Winter Tourism Prospects in South Punjab, Mid-Country Tourism in Winter were included. انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بزنس، مینجمنٹ اینڈ ایڈمنسٹریٹیو سائنسزاسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام تین روزہ انٹرنیشنل کانفرنس برائے ٹورازم، انٹر پرینیورشپ اینڈ بزنس ریسرچ آج سے بغدا دالجدید کیمپس میں شروع ہو گئی ہے۔ کانفرنس میں آسٹریلیا، ناروے، برطانیہ، انڈونیشیاء، ملائیشیاء، متحدہ عرب امارات، عمان، فرانس، تھائی لینڈ اور پاکستانی جامعات سے آئے ہوئے 18 کلیدی مقررین شریک ہیں۔ کانفرنس کے افتتاحی سیشن کے نام وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ سیاحت اور خودروزگاری اور کاروباری تحقیق پر ہونے والی کانفرنس میں ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کی شرکت خوش آئند ہے۔ کانفرنس کا موضوع کووڈ وباء کے روشن اور تاریک پہلوؤں کے تناظر میں درپیش چیلنجز اور مواقعوں کا جائزہ لینا ہے۔ جس سے بزنس ماہرین سیاحت اور کاروبار میں نئے تحقیقی امور پر توجہ دیں گے۔ کرونا وباء کے دوران پوری دنیا میں ہرسطح پر نئے رجحانات دیکھے گئے خاص طو رپر لاک ڈاؤن کی وجہ سے کاروباری امور بری طرح متاثر ہوئے۔ اس دوران دنیا بھر میں سیاحت کی صنعت بھی متاثر ہوئی۔ اس کے مثبت اثرات بھی سامنے آئے اور لوگوں نے مستقبل کے ان دیکھے چیلنجز کا سامنا کرنے کے لیے خود کو تیار کیا۔ خاص طور پرسیاحتی کاروبار کے شعبے میں نئے امکانات پیداہوئے۔ اس کانفرنس میں بزنس ماہرین یقینا اساتذہ اور طلباء کو کووڈ کے بعد کی دنیا کی کاروباری صورت حال اور رجحانات سے آگاہ کریں گے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر جواد اقبال ڈین فیکلٹی آف مینجمنٹ اینڈ کامرس نے کہا ہے کہ تین روزہ کانفرنس میں دو ایونٹس منعقد ہو رہے ہیں پہلا انٹرنیشنل کانفرنس جس میں قومی اور بین الاقوامی مندوبین کی بڑی تعداد شریک ہے اور دوسرا ایونٹ ینگ انٹرپرینیورسمٹ ہے جس میں نئے بزنس آئیڈیاز کو متعارف کرایا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کانفرنس میں 200 سے زائد ریسرچ پیپر پڑھے جائیں گے۔ اس کانفرنس کا فائدہ ہمارے طلباء وطالبات کو ہوگا جو کانفرنس میں شریک ماہرین سے استفادہ کرتے ہوئے اپنی تحقیقی مہارت میں اضافہ کریں گے۔ اس کے علاوہ ینگ انٹرپرینیورسمٹ بھی منعقد کی گئی۔ ہمارے انڈر گریجویٹس طلباء وطالبات نئے آئیڈیاز لے کر آتے ہیں اس میں کوئی پابندی نہیں کہ صرف بزنس کا ہی طالب علم ہو اس میں انجینئرنگ، فارمیسی، ویٹرنری اور دیگر مضامین کے طلباء طالبات بھی شامل ہو سکتے ہیں۔ اس وقت ہمارے پاس 112 ٹیمیں پورے پاکستان میں 40 جامعات سے رجسٹرڈ ہیں۔ انڈسٹری اور بزنس فیلڈ کے ججز ان طلباء وطالبات کے آئیڈیاز کی جانچ پڑتال کریں گے اور بہترین کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنے والے طلباء و طالبات کونقد انعام دے جائیں گے تاکہ وہ اپنے آئیڈیا پر آگے بڑھتے ہوئے کاروبار چلا سکیں۔ اس سمٹ کا بنیادی مقصد بہاول پور ریجن میں انڈسٹری ڈویلپمنٹ پر کام کرنا ہے۔ ہمارے طلباء وطالبات کے پاس بہت سے نئے آئیڈیا ز ہیں ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ لوگ اپنے کاروبار کی طرف توجہ دیں اور اپنے چھوٹے اور درمیانے بزنس شروع کریں۔ دنیا میں کامیاب قومیں وہیں ہیں جنہوں نے کاروباراور انڈسٹری میں ترقی کی اسطرح اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پاکستان کی معاشی ترقی میں اپنا کردار ادا کررہی ہے۔ کانفرنس کے سیکرٹری ڈاکٹر محمد عمران رشید نے تمام ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کو خوش آمدید کہا اور کانفرنس کے اشتراک اور تعاون میں پنجاب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔ کانفرنس کے اہم موضوعات میں کرونا وباء کے دوران آن لائن ایجوکیشن، کرونا وباء کے تناظر میں بین الاقوامی اداروں کی کارپوریٹ ذمہ داریاں، کرونا وباء کے دوران موبائل بزنس کا فروغ، کرونا اور کرونا وباء کے بعد دفتری اوقات کار کے رجحانات، چھوٹے اور درمیانی کاروبار پر موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں کے اثرات، کاروبار سے منسلک خواتین کے لیے کرونا وباء کے بعد کے مواقعے، کاروباری جگہوں پر صنفی تفاوت، سی پیک کے سماجی اور معاشرتی اثرات، ٹیکنالوجی سے پیداشدہ ذہنی دباؤ اور کاروباری کارکردگی، گرین ہیومن ریسورس مینجمنٹ اور ماحولیاتی کارکردگی، جنوبی پنجاب میں سرمائی سیاحت کے امکانات، موسم سرما میں مڈ کنٹری سیاحت جیسے اہم موضوعات شامل تھے۔ کانفرنس میں شریک ملکی اور غیر ملکی کلیدی مندوبین میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر امندیپ دھیر، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روئی ٹوریس، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر امامہ شوکت، ڈاکٹرپونیت کور،ڈاکٹر عاطفہ نجوانی شہیداں، ڈاکٹر یاسری، ڈاکٹر غزالی بن حسن، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فوزیہ جبین، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عثمان مصطفی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرحمان، ڈاکٹر ارم صباء، ڈاکٹر غلام علی ارائیں، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد زاہد، ڈاکٹر وحید علی عمرانی، ڈاکٹر محمد ابرار، ڈاکٹر عبدالحمید پتافی، ڈاکٹر اویس گلزاراور ڈاکٹر آصف سعید شامل ہیں۔
