The 5th International Conference organized by the School of State Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, concluded successfully. In their recommendations, the delegates stated that inclusive governance is a fundamental prerequisite for social stability and sustainable development. They emphasized that maintaining social harmony is essential for ensuring identity recognition and empowerment. The delegates further said that democracy and leadership should be strengthened through participation, transparency, and the promotion of civic literacy. They stressed that for the promotion of inclusive decision-making, local and institutional capacities must be strengthened, while modern digital models of public service delivery should be developed to enhance transparency and build public trust. They noted that reimagining Pakistan’s governance framework for the 21st century requires sustainability and knowledge creation as its core elements. The delegates also recommended that literacy and cybersecurity education be integrated into the national curriculum, and that international best practices be adopted to modernize educational governance and reduce the digital divide. The Chief Guest of the closing session was Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, Vice Chancellor of Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, while Dr. Nayyir Mustafa, Additional Commissioner Coordination, graced the event as a special guest. On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Chief Organizer of the Conference, thanked Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum for her participation and appreciated the Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, for his continuous guidance and patronage in organizing the event. She also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of Dr. Sarfraz Batool (Director, School of State Sciences), Dr. Shahbaz Ali Khan (Chairman, Department of Public Administration and Conference Focal Person), Dr. Shakeel Akhtar (Conference Secretary), and Dr. Ansar Abbas (Deputy Focal Person). Finally, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the delegates for visiting Bahawalpur and contributing to the success of the conference.

سکول آف سٹیٹ سائنسز فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام پانچویں بین الاقوامی کانفرنس اختتام پذیر ہوگئی۔ مندوبین نے اپنی سفارشات میں کہا ہے کہ جامع طرز ِحکمرانی، سماجی استحکام اور پائیدار ترقی کی بنیادی شرط ہے۔ شناخت کی پہچان اور بااختیار بنانے کیلئے سماجی ہم آہنگی کو برقرار رکھنا ناگزیر ہے۔ اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ جمہوریت اور قیادت کو شرکت، شفافیت اور شہری خواندگی کے فروغ کے ذریعے مستحکم کیا جانا چاہیے۔ مندوبین نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ جامع فیصلہ سازی کے فروغ کے لیے مقامی اور ادارہ جاتی صلاحیتوں کو مضبوط بنایا جائے، جبکہ شفافیت اور عوامی اعتماد کے قیام کے لیے عوامی خدمات کے جدید ڈیجیٹل ماڈلز تیار کیے جائیں۔ اکیسویں صدی کے لیے پاکستان کی طرز حکمرانی کا ازسر نو تصور کرنے کے لیے پائیداری اور علم کی پیداوار مرکزی حیثیت رکھتی ہے۔ خواندگی اور سائبرسیکیوریٹی کی تعلیم کو قومی نصاب میں ضم کیا جائے۔ تعلیمی گورننس کو جدید بنانے اور ڈیجیٹل تقسیم کو کم کرنے کے لیے بین الاقوامی بہترین تجربات سے استفادہ کیا جائے۔ اختتامی سیشن کی مہمان خصوصی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم وائس چانسلر گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی بہاولپور تھیں جبکہ ڈاکٹر نئیر مصطفی، ایڈیشنل کمشنر کوآرڈینیشن نے خصوصی خصوصی شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز اور کانفرنس چیف آرگنائزر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی نے کانفرنس میں شریک ہونے پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور کانفرنس کے انعقاد میں رہنمائی اور سرپرستی پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کانفرنس منتظمین ڈائریکٹر سکول آف سٹیٹ سائنسز ڈاکٹر سرفراز بتول کانفرنس کے فوکل پرسن اور چئیرمین شعبہ پبلک ایڈمنسٹریشن ڈاکٹر شہباز علی خان کانفرنس سیکرٹری ڈاکٹر شکیل اختر ڈپٹی فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر عنصر عباس کی کاوشوں کو سراہا اور مندوبین کا بہاولپور آنے پر خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔
