A Delegation of Female Faculty Members met with President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bahawalpur

On the directions of Worthy Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, delegation of female faculty members including Dr. Ayesha Shoukat, Dr. Samar Fahd and Ms. Kalsoom Akhtar met with Ms. Rabia Usman Khan, President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bahawalpur and her team. During this meeting, many points were discussed including collaboration on management and commerce students, grants for female entrepreneurial ideas and mental wellbeing of the students and employees of IUB. Ms. Rabia Usman is a well-established entrepreneur by herself and was interested in signing an MOU with IUB regarding providing career counseling to students from professionals to students of IUB. University officials discussed on collaboration of chamber of commerce with IUB and in exploring further avenues to Support specifically female graduates of university.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی خواتین اساتذہ کے وفد نے صدر ویمن چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری بہاولپور رابعہ عثمان خان سے ملاقات کی۔ وفد میں ڈاکٹر عائشہ شوکت، ڈاکٹر ثمر فہد اور کلثوم اختر موجود تھیں۔ ڈاکٹر عائشہ شوکت نے کہا کہ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے ویمن چیمبر کے ساتھ تعاون و اشتراک کی ہدایت کی ہے۔ یونیورسٹی اور ویمن چیمبر بزنس مینجمنٹ اور کامرس کے شعبوں میں مشترکہ منصوبے شروع کریں گے۔ رابعہ عثمان خان نے کہا کہ وہ یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے تعاون کو سراہتی ہیں اور اس سلسلے میں مفاہمتی یاداشت کی تجویز بھی زیر غور ہے۔
