A delegation of Pakistan Engineering Council visited the Department of Civil Engineering, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The purpose of the visit was to promote mutual cooperation and ensure high quality of engineering education. The delegation inspected the laboratories and infrastructure in the Department of Civil Engineering, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Council members inspected the research and teaching facilities. The delegation also discussed the curriculum and research projects of the department with the faculty members and students. Council members in a meeting with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar and Dean Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad appreciated the modern equipment and resources available in the department, which facilitate modern research and teaching. The council appreciated the dedication of the faculty and students of the department. Dean Faculty of Engineering Professor Dr. Muhammad Amjad thanked the team of Pakistan Engineering Council for their arrival and support. Registrar Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamil and Treasurer Abdul Sattar Zahoori were also present on this occasion.

پاکستان انجینئرنگ کونسل کے وفد نے شعبہ سول انجینئرنگ، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا دورہ کیا۔ دورے کا مقصد باہمی تعاون کو فروغ دینا اور انجینئرنگ کی تعلیم کے اعلی معیار کو یقینی بنانا تھا۔ وفد نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے شعبہ سول انجینئرنگ میں لیبارٹریوں اور انفراسٹرکچر کا جائزہ لیا۔ کونسل کے اراکین نے تحقیقی اور تدریسی سہولیات کا مشاہدہ کیا۔ وفد نے شعبہ کے نصاب اور تحقیقی منصوبوں کے بارے میں فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء و طالبات کے ساتھ تبادلہ خیال بھی کیا۔ کونسل کے اراکین وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر اور ڈین فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد سے ملاقات میں شعبہ میں دستیاب جدید آلات اور وسائل کو سراہا، جو جدید تحقیق اور تدریس میں سہولت فراہم کرتے ہیں۔ کونسل نے شعبہ ہذا کی فیکلٹی اور طلباؤطالبات کی لگن کو سراہا۔ڈین فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد نے پاکستان انجینئرنگ کونسل کی ٹیم کی آمد اور تعاون پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔اس موقع پر رجسٹرار پروفیسر ڈاکٹر معظم جمیل اور خزانہ دار عبد الستار ظہوری بھی موجود تھے۔
