Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has said that the university community will fully participate in flood relief activities to help the people affected by the devastating flood. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views while sending the IUB Relief Cell team to the affected areas. The Vice Chancellor said that a camp is being set up at the main gate of the Abbasia Campus University where teachers, employees, students, parents, alumni and community members as well as the general public can deposit relief items. In addition, the University Flood Relief Cell account has also been activated in which relief funds can be deposited. IUB Flood Relief Cell Head Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha gave a briefing about the ongoing relief activities in the areas along the banks of the Sutlej River in collaboration with the District Administration, Rescue 1122 and other institutions. Meanwhile, the university team visited Mari Qasim Shah and other areas affected by the floods of the Sutlej River and reviewed the work for relief activities.

بہاولپور (پ ر) وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا ہے کہ یونیورسٹی کمیونٹی سیلاب کی صورت میں تباہ کن آفت سے متاثرہ لوگوں کی مدد کے لیے امدادی سرگرمیوں میں بھرپور حصہ لے گی۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار وائس چانسلر نے آئی یو بی ریلیف سیل کی ٹیم کو متاثرہ علاقوں میں بھیجتے ہوئے کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ عباسیہ کیمپس یونیورسٹی کے مرکزی دروازے پر ایک کیمپ لگایا جا رہا ہے جہاں اساتذہ ،ملازمین، طلباوطالبات، والدین، ایلومینائی اور کمیونٹی کے لوگوں کیساتھ عام لوگ بھی امدادی اشیا جمع کراسکتے ہیں۔ اسکے علاوہ یونیورسٹی فلڈ ریلیف سیل کا اکاؤنٹ بھی فعال کر دیا گیا ہے جس میں امدادی رقوم جمع کرائی جائے سکتی ہیں۔ آئی یو بی فلڈ ریلیف سیل کے سربراہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے دریائے ستلج کے کنارے واقع علاقوں میں امدادی سرگرمیوں کے لیے ضلعی انتظامیہ ریسکیو 1122 اور دیگر اداروں کے ساتھ ملکر جاری امدادی سرگرمیوں کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی۔ دریں اثناء یونیورسٹی ٹیم نے دریائے ستلج کے سیلاب سے متاثرہ ماڑی قاسم شاہ اور دیگر علاقوں کا دورہ کیا اور امدادی سرگرمیوں کے لئے کام کا جائزہ لیا۔
