A seminar and walk were organized at the IUB Bahawalnagar Campus to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day 2025

On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, a seminar and walk were organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Bahawalnagar Campus yesterday to express solidarity with the oppressed people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Campus Director Dr. Raffaqat Ali, Deputy Director Students Affairs Aurangzeb Wattoo, Security Officer Dr. Riaz Abid, Assistant Registrar Rao Waqas Ahmed, students and members of the campus administration participated in the event. The seminar was conducted by Syed Saqib Ali, Uzma Moin and Syed Zeeshan Ali. On this occasion, a student of the Department of English Literature, Eisha Waheed, delivered a speech and the President of the Literary Society, Syed Saqib Ali, shed light on the historical background of Kashmir through poetry. Campus Director Dr. Raffaqat Ali mentioned the problems faced by Kashmiris in his address and appreciated Pakistan’s political, moral and diplomatic support for Kashmiris. The walk was organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs and the campus administration to pay tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of Kashmiris.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور بہاولنگر کیمپس میں ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز کے زیر اہتمام گزشتہ روز یوم یکجہتی کشمیر کے موقع پر سیمینار اور واک کے ذریعے مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر کے مظلوم عوام سے اظہار یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر کیمپس ڈاکٹر رفاقت علی، ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اورنگزیب وٹو، سکیورٹی آفیسر ڈاکٹر ریاض عابد، اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار راؤ وقاص احمد سمیت طلباء و طالبات اور کیمپس انتظامیہ کے اراکین نے شرکت کی۔ سیمینار کی نظامت کے فرائض سید ثاقب علی، عظمی معین اور سید ذیشان علی نے سر انجام دیے۔ اس موقع پر شعبہ انگریزی ادب کی طالبہ عیشا وحید نے اپنی تقریر اور ادبی سوسائٹی کے صدر سید ثاقب علی نے شاعری کے ذریعے کشمیر کے تاریخی پس منظر پر روشنی ڈالی۔ ڈائریکٹر کیمپس ڈاکٹر رفاقت علی نے اپنے خطاب میں کشمیریوں کو درپیش مسائل کا ذکر کیا اور پاکستان کی کشمیریوں کی سیاسی، اخلاقی اور سفارتی حمایت کو سراہا۔ کشمیریوں کی بے مثال قربانیوں کو خراج تحسین پیش کرنے کے لیے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اور کیمپس انتظامیہ کی طرف سے واک کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔
