A seminar was organized under the auspices of Seerat Chair Islamia University Bahawalpur regarding the Day of Protection of the Honor of the Prophet. This seminar was organized in the light of the letter issued by the Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training, Government of Pakistan, at Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi Hall, Abbasia Campus, Islamia University Bahawalpur. The aim of the seminar was to highlight the greatness and respect of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and to create awareness for the protection of the honor of the Prophet. The participants said that this seminar is a positive step at the social and educational level, which will help in increasing awareness among the young generation regarding the protection of the honor of the Prophet.  The welcome address was delivered by Professor Dr. Hafiz Shafiqur-ur-Rehman, Director Seerat Chair, Islamia University of Bahawalpur and was presided over by Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur-ur-Rehman, Dean, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. The chief guest and keynote speaker was Professor Dr. Saleem Tariq Khan, former Vice Chancellor, Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Scholars representing different schools of thought also addressed the gathering and informed the participants on this important topic.

سیرت چیئر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیرِ انتظام یومِ تحفظِ ناموسِ رسالت کے حوالے سے سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ یہ سیمینار پرائیویٹ ایجوکیشنل انسٹی ٹیوشنز ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی وفاقی وزارتِ تعلیم و پیشہ ورانہ تربیت حکومتِ پاکستان کی طرف سے جاری کردہ مراسلہ کی روشنی میں غلام محمد گھوٹوی ہال عباسیہ کیمپس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں منعقد کیا گیا۔ سیمینار کا مقصد نبی اکرم صلی اللّٰه علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی عظمت و احترام کو اجاگر کرنا اور ناموسِ رسالت کے تحفظ کے لیے شعور بیدار کرنا تھا۔ شرکاء کا کہنا تھا کہ یہ سیمینار معاشرتی و تعلیمی سطح پر ایک مثبت قدم ہے جس سے نوجوان نسل میں ناموسِ رسالت کے تحفظ کے حوالے سے آگاہی بڑھانے میں مدد ملے گی۔ خطبہ استقبالیہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حافظ شفیق الرحمن ڈائریکٹر سیرت چیئر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے دیا اور صدارت پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک اسٹڈیز نے کی۔ مہمان خصوصی و کلیدی مقرر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سلیم طارق خان سابق وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور تھے۔ مختلف مکاتب فکر کے اہل علم نمائندہ  سکالرز نے بھی خطاب کیا اور شرکاء کو اس اہم موضوع پر آگاہی فراہم کی۔
