Allied Health Professions Day was celebrated by Faculty of Allied Health Sciences the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Prof Dr. Saeed Ahmed, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Chairman of departments and students participated in the seminar organized on this occasion. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Jabeen, Chairperson Department of Pharmacology, Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Chairman Department of Pharmaceutics, Principal University College of Conventional Medicine Dr. Muhammad Asif, In-charge Department of Medical Laboratory and Technology Dr. Quratul Ain and In-charge Department of Physical Therapy Dr. Ayesha Bashir, Deputy Director of Students Affairs, Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences Dr. Qamar-ul-Zaman also spoke about the importance of this day.. Dean Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed said that today is celebrated as Allied Health Professions Day. Professional women and men associated with this sector play a key role in patient care and supporting the health system. From physiotherapists and radiographers to occupational therapists, dieticians and medical technicians, these professionals are essential to ensuring comprehensive, high-quality healthcare for patients worldwide. Their expertise, dedication, and commitment to patient well-being have a significant impact on improving health systems and enhancing quality of life. This year, the theme of the day is quality and safety, which means caring for patients with better quality and safety practices. The Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Islamia University Bahawalpur are producing highly competent and dedicated health professionals with a passion for social service following international standards of education and training. A special awareness walk was also organized to highlight the importance and usefulness of health professions.

فیکلٹی آف الایئڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام الایئڈ ہیلتھ پروفیشنز ڈے منایا گیا۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبیں، چئیرمین شعبہ فارماکولوجی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسد اللہ مدنی، چئیرمین شعبہ فارماسیوٹیکس، پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف کنونشنل میڈیسن ڈاکٹر محمد آصف، انچارج شعبہ میڈیکل لیبارٹری اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی ڈاکٹر قرۃالعین اور انچارج شعبہ فزیکل تھراپی ڈاکٹر عائشہ بشیر، ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس آفیئرز فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز ڈاکٹر قمرالزماں نے بھی اس دن کی اہمیت سے متعلق خطاب کیا۔ اس موقع پر منعقد ہونے والے سیمینار میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد، ڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی و فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز، چئیرمین شعبہ جات اور طلباء  و طالبات نے شرکت کی۔ ڈین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد نے کہا کہ آج کا دن الائیڈ ہیلتھ پروفیشنز ڈے کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے۔ اس شعبہ سے وابستہ پروفیشنل خواتین و حضرات مریضوں کی دیکھ بھال اور صحت کے نظام کو سپورٹ کرنے میں کلیدی ادا کرتے ہیں۔ فزیو تھراپسٹ اور ریڈیوگرافرز سے لے کر پیشہ ورانہ معالجین، غذائی ماہرین اور طبی تکنیکی ماہرین تک، یہ پیشہ ور افراد دنیا بھر میں مریضوں کے لیے جامع، اعلیٰ معیار کی صحت کی دیکھ بھال کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ضروری ہیں۔ ان کی مہارت، لگن، اور مریض کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے وابستگی صحت کے نظام کو بہتر بنانے اور زندگی کے معیار کو بڑھانے پر اہم اثر ڈالتی ہے۔ امسال اس دن کا تھیم کوالٹی اور سیفٹی ہے یعنی بہتر معیار اور حفاظتی اصولوں کے ساتھ مریضوں کی دیکھ بھال کرنا۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی اور فیکلٹی آف الایئڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز تعلیم اور تربیت کے بین الاقوامی معیارات پر عمل کرتے ہوئے انتہائی قابل اور سماجی خدمت کے جذبے سے سرشار ہیلتھ پروفیشنلز تیار کررہی ہیں۔ ہیلتھ پروفیشنز کی اہمیت اور افادیت اجاگر کرنے کے لیے خصوصی آگاہی واک کا بھی اہتمام کیا گیا۔
