An advanced program of Quantum Computing will be launched at the IUB, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran.

Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran said that modern programs are being launched for the students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in accordance with the national and global job market. As an important step towards promoting modern research and innovations in emerging technologies in the university, an advanced program of Quantum Computing will be launched. The aim of this program is to equip the students and researchers with modern knowledge and practical skills in Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Information Science, Artificial Intelligence and Future Generation Computing Technologies. This innovative program is being launched in the Faculty of Computing. In this regard, the advice and services of Dr. Sabih Anwar, a world expert in this field, will be sought at LUMS University. This program will soon be approved by the Board of Studies. The Vice Chancellor said that not only the Islamia University of Bahawalpur but also the entire South Punjab does not have an innovative program of this level. This program is directly related to artificial intelligence, data science, cyber security and fin-tech. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is currently taking steps to enhance regional economic development, agricultural technology, and digital skills, and the launch of the quantum computing subject is a link in this series and is great news for the youth of the area.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے طلباء و طالبات کے لیے قومی اور عالمی جاب مارکیٹ کے مطابق جدید پروگراموں کا آغاز کیا جارہا ہے ۔ یونیورسٹی میں ابھرتی ہوئی ٹیکنالوجیز میں جدید تحقیق اور اختراعات کو فروغ دینے کی جانب ایک اہم قدم کے طور پر کوانٹم کمپیوٹنگ جیسا ایڈوانسڈ  پروگرام شروع کیا جاے گا۔ اس پروگرام کا مقصد طلباءوطالبات محققین کو کوانٹم الگورتھم، کوانٹم انفارمیشن سائنس، مصنوعی ذہانت اور فیوچر جنریشن کمپیوٹنگ ٹیکنالوجیز میں جدید علم اور عملی مہارتوں سے آراستہ کرنا ہے۔ فیکلٹی آف کمپوٹنگ میں اس جدید پروگرام کا آغاز کیا جارہا ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں لمز یونیورسٹی میں اس شعبے کے عالمی ماہر ڈاکٹر صبیح انور کی مشاورت اور خدمات حاصل کی جائیں گی۔ اس پروگرام کی جلد بورڈ آف اسٹڈیز سے منظوری دلوائی جائے گی۔ وائس چانسلر کا کہنا تھا کہ نہ صرف اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور بلکہ پورے جنوبی پنجاب میں اس سطح کا جدید پروگرام موجود نہیں ہے۔ اس پروگرام کا تعلق براہ راست آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس، ڈیٹا سائنس، سائبر سیکورٹی  اور فن ٹیک سے ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اس وقت علاقائی معاشی ترقی، ایگریکلچر ٹیکنالوجی، ڈیجیٹل مہارتیں بڑھانے کے لیے اقدامات کررہی ہے اور کوانٹم کمپوٹنگ مضمون کا آغاز اسی سلسلے کی ایک کڑی ہے اور علاقے کے نوجوانوں کے لیے بڑی خوش خبری ہے۔
