An important meeting regarding the partnership between the British Council and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat, Abbasia Campus. The meeting was attended by Abdullah Anwar, representing Business and Education at the British Council, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Muhammad Shaji ur Rehman Registrar, Director Public Relations Dr Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Faisal Shehzad Director, Directorate of Information Technology and Dr. Misbah Rosheen Khan, Assistant Professor of English Linguistics and Team Lead for IELTS. The participants held a productive discussion on strengthening institutional collaboration and expanding educational opportunities for students. It was agreed that the first phase of the partnership would commence with the successful launch of IELTS-related initiatives at the University. This collaboration marks an important step towards enhancing English-language proficiency, international academic opportunities, and professional development for the Islamia University of Bahawalpur students.

برٹش کونسل اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے درمیان شراکت داری کے حوالے سے اہم اجلاس وائس چانسلر سیکریٹریٹ عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوئی۔ اجلاس میں برٹش کونسل میں بزنس اور ایجوکیشن کی نمائندگی کرنے والے عبداللہ انور، وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران، رجسٹرار شجیع الرحمن، ڈائریکٹر انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی فیصل شہزاد اور انگریزی لسانیات کی اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر و آئیلٹس ٹیم لیڈ ڈاکٹر مصباح روشن خان نے شرکت کی۔ شرکاء نے ادارہ جاتی تعاون کو مضبوط بنانے اور طلباء کے لیے تعلیمی مواقع کو بڑھانے پر ایک نتیجہ خیز گفتگو کی۔ اس بات پر اتفاق کیا گیا کہ شراکت داری کا پہلا مرحلہ یونیورسٹی میں آئیلٹس IELTS سے متعلقہ اقدامات کے کامیاب آغاز کے ساتھ شروع ہوگا۔ یہ تعاون اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے طلباء وطالبات کے لیے انگریزی زبان کی مہارت، بین الاقوامی تعلیمی مواقع اور پیشہ ورانہ ترقی کی جانب ایک اہم قدم ہے۔
