The University College of Art & Design the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, organized an art exhibition and Live Art Activity to mark Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day. The event was held under the theme 14th August Pakistan’s Independence Day. Students participated enthusiastically by creating artworks and paintings reflecting themes of patriotism, unity, national pride, and love for the country. The event was graced by distinguished guests. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Shaji-ur-Rehman, Registrar was the Chief Guest of the event, while Dr. Tariq Mehmood Shaikh, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Ramzan, Assistant Professor and Prof. Rana Muhammad Shazad attended as guests of Honour. The distinguished guests toured the exhibition and highly appreciated the students’ creativity, artistic talent, and dedication. All activities were conducted under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, and under the supervision of Principal, University College of Art & Design Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi. Certificates of participation were distributed among all participating students in recognition of their enthusiastic involvement. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to the faculty members who contributed to the successful organization of the event Farjad Faiz, Fawad Ahmed, Muhammad Shafiq, Anum Qureshi, Fatima Akhtar, and Irum Qasim. The event concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, in which the distinguished guests, faculty members, and students participated, celebrating the spirit of independence, unity, and national pride.

یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے پاکستان کے 79 ویں یوم آزادی کے موقع پر آرٹ کی نمائش اور لائیو آرٹ ایکٹیویٹی کا اہتمام کیا۔ یہ تقریب 14 اگست پاکستان کے یوم آزادی کے موضوع کے تحت منعقد کی گئی۔ طلباء نے حب الوطنی، اتحاد، قومی فخر اور وطن سے محبت کے موضوعات کی عکاسی کرنے والے فن پارے اور پینٹنگز میں جوش و خروش سے حصہ لیا۔ تقریب کے مہمان خصوصی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز اور شجیع الرحمان رجسٹرار تھے جبکہ ڈاکٹر طارق محمود شیخ خزانہ دار، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئر، ڈاکٹر محمد رمضان، اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر، پروفیسر رانا محمد شہزاد نے بطور مہمانان اعزاز شرکت کی۔ معزز مہمانوں نے نمائش کا دورہ کیا اور طلباء کی تخلیقی صلاحیتوں، فنکارانہ صلاحیتوں اور لگن کو خوب سراہا۔ تمام سرگرمیاں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی رہنمائی اور یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کی پرنسپل ڈاکٹر فرحانہ الطاف قریشی کی نگرانی میں منعقد ہوئیں۔ شرکت کرنے والے تمام طلباء میں ان کی پرجوش شمولیت کے اعتراف میں سرٹیفکیٹ تقسیم کیے گئے۔ تقریب کے کامیاب انعقاد میں کردار ادا کرنے والے فیکلٹی ممبران فرجاد فیض، فواد احمد، محمد شفیق، انعم قریشی، فاطمہ اختر اور ارم قاسم کو بھی تعریفی اسناد سے نوازا گیا۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
