About Me
Dr. Ghulam Hassan Abbasi joins The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan on 17-01-2012 as Assistant Professor and currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Soil Science.
Dr. Abbasi has completed his Ph.D. in Soil Science (Research Field; Soil Salinity/ Saline Agriculture) with distinction from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
Dr. Abbasi represents The Islamia University of Bahawalpur at international conferences in Turkey, Bahrain, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Kingdom Saudi Arabia and Republic of China and got appreciation.
Dr. Abbasi is an author/co-author of 32 publication including books chapter, Book, Research/Review articles in Highly Impact Factor National and International journals. He is also working as a Managing Editor and a potential reviewer for many renowned scientific journals.
Dr. Abbasi established Soil Salinity Laboratory (SSL) at the Department of Soil Science and organized two International Salinity Conferences along with several Workshops and Trainings at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
He has completed three research projects as P.I. and two as team member and currently running a HEC (NRPU) project.
He is committed, motivated and an emerging scientist in the field of Saline Agriculture.
