Bahawalpur (P) On the direction of Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, a seminar series organized by the committee established to create awareness about the side effects of drugs and discourage the use of drugs is going on in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The head of this committee is Prof. Dr. Fayaz ud din Ahmed. In this regard, a seminar was held in Baghdad ul-Jadeed campus under the auspices of the Faculty of Social Sciences. On this occasion, Dr. Waheed Mumtaz Abbasi Medical Officer discussed in detail about the harmful effects of drug use and its mental and physical health. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha Chairman Department of Social Work, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Chairman Department of Psychology, Dr. Maleeha Arif Principal Medical Officer, Fatima Muzahir Deputy Registrar Public Affairs, faculty members and students were present in large numbers.

بہاول پور (پ) وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کی ہدایت پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں منشیات کے مضر اثرات سے آگاہی اور استعمال کی حوصلہ شکنی کے لیے قائم کی گئی کمیٹی کے زیر اہتمام سیمینار سیریز جاری ہے۔ اس کمیٹی کے سربراہ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر فیاض الدین احمد ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز کے زیر اہتمام بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں سیمینار منعقد ہوا۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر وحید ممتاز عباسی میڈیکل آفیسر نے منشیات کے استعمال اور اس کے ذہنی اور جسمانی صحت پر مرتب ہونیوالے مضر اثرات پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا چیئرمین شعبہ سوشل ورک، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد سلیم چیئرمین شعبہ نفسیات، ڈاکٹر ملیحہ عارف پرنسپل میڈیکل آفیسر، فاطمہ مظاہر ڈپٹی رجسٹرار پبلک افیئرز، فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء و طالبات بڑی تعداد میں شریک تھے۔
