BCCI and GCCI will launch Mega Business Summit at the IUB in November

Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry will launch Mega Business Summit at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in November. This was decided during a joint meeting between the delegation of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry with Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. Among the members of the delegation of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce, Chaudhry Wahiduddin, former president of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Seth Qamar, former vice president, Imtiaz Kausar, member executive, Munir Ahmed, CEO, Ameen Fan and Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry members included Javed Iqbal, former president of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Malik Ejaz Nazim, executive member, Malik Muneeb and other officials. Senior Journalist Naseer Ahmed Nasir, Director Press Media and Publications Shahzad Ahmed Khalid and Wasim Ahmed Siddiqui, Senior Staff Officer were also present on this occasion. The members of the delegation appreciated the generous role of the Vice-Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob in the development of higher education opportunities and socio-economic development in the Bahawalpur region and said that more support will be given in the construction and development of the university and the establishment of new projects. The delegation of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce said that there are many business opportunities in South Punjab and there is a need for investment to promote the establishment of industry in this area and in collaboration with Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, this area efforts will be made for business development. He said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has become the biggest university in the country and high level education is given here and this university has a high position in teaching and research. Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will initiate joint ventures and the platform of the University will be effectively used for the same. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has completed a 3 MW solar power project to meet the needs of the campus and will further scale up the energy sector to further strengthen the project. Similarly, through intercropping technology, foreign exchange spent on production of poultry feed and import of edible oil will be saved. Apart from this, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur's research on cotton crop for textile industry is very valuable and encouraging and other institutions of the country will cooperate with the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in this regard to increase cotton production for textile industry. Vice-Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob appreciated the spirit of goodwill of both Chambers of Commerce and said that both Chambers of Commerce are associated with the Islamia University of Bahawalpur through a documentary agreement and now all are in place to implement this agreement. The indication of cooperation from the parties is very welcome and auspicious. The conference will be attended by industrialists, experts from across the country and especially the officials and businessmen of Gujarat and Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce who will formulate a plan for the business development of Bahawalpur.

بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری اور گجرات چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری ماہ نومبر میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں میگا بزنس سمٹ کا آغاز کریں گے۔ اس بات کا فیصلہ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب سے گجرات چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری اور بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے وفد کی ایک مشترکہ ملاقات کے دوران ہوا۔ ملاقات میں گجرات چیمبر آف کامر س کے وفد کے ارکان میں چوہدری وحید الدین سابق صدر چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری گجرات، سیٹھ قمر سابق نائب صدر، امتیاز کوثر ممبر ایگزیکٹو، منیر احمد سی ای او امین فین اور بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے ارکان میں جاوید اقبال سابق صدر بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری، ملک اعجاز ناظم ایگزیکٹو ممبر، ملک منیب اور دیگر عہدیداران شامل تھے۔ اس موقع پر سینئر صحافی نصیر احمد ناصر، ڈائریکٹر پریس میڈیا اینڈ پبلیکیشنزشہزاد احمد خالد اور وسیم احمد صدیقی سینئر سٹاف آفیسر بھی موجود تھے۔ وفد کے ارکان نے بہاول پور خطے میں اعلیٰ تعلیم کے مواقعوں اور سماجی و معاشی تعلیمی ترقی میں وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کے مدبرانہ کردار کو سراہا اور کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کی تعمیر و ترقی، نئے منصوبوں کے قیام میں مزید تعاون کیا جائے گا۔ گجرات چیمبر آف کامرس کے وفد نے کہا کہ جنوبی پنجاب میں کاروباری مواقع بہت زیادہ ہیں اور اس علاقے میں صنعت کے قیام کے لیے فروغ دینے کے لیے سرمایہ کاری کی ضرور ت ہے اور بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری سے مل کر اس علاقے کی کاروباری ترقی کے لیے کوششیں کی جائیں گی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور ملک کی بڑی یونیورسٹی بن چکی ہے اور یہاں پر اعلیٰ درجے کی تعلیم دی جاتی ہے اور اس یونیورسٹی کا تدریس و تحقیق میں اعلیٰ مقام ہے۔ گجرات چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری اور بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے ساتھ مل کر مشترکہ منصوبے شروع کرے گی اور اس کے لیے یونیورسٹی کے پلیٹ فارم کو موثر طور پر استعمال کیا جائے گا۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں 3 میگا واٹ شمسی توانائی کا منصوبہ مکمل کیا گیا ہے جس سے کیمپس کی ضروریات کو پورا کیا جا رہا ہے اور انرجی کے شعبے میں اس کو مزید بڑھایا جائے گاتاکہ اس منصوبے کو مزید مستحکم کیا جا سکے۔ اسی طرح انٹرکراپنگ ٹیکنالوجی کے ذریعے پولٹری فیڈکی تیاری اور خوردنی تیل کی درآمد پر خرچ ہونے والے زرمبادلہ کی بچت ہو گی۔ علاوہ ازیں ٹیکسٹائل کی صنعت کے لیے کپاس کی فصل پر بھی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کی تحقیق انتہائی قابل قدر اور حوصلہ افزا ہے اور ملک کے دیگر ادارے اس سلسلے میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور سے تعاون کریں گے تاکہ کپاس کی پیداوار کو بڑھا کر ٹیکسٹائل کی صنعت کو استحکام کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب نے دونوں چیمبر آف کامرس کے جذبے خیر سگالی کو سراہا اور کہا کہ دونوں چیمبر آف کامرس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے ساتھ ایک دستاویزی معاہدے کے ذریعے جڑے ہوئے ہیں اور اب اس معاہدے کو عملی شکل دینے کے لیے تمام فریقین کی جانب سے تعاون کا عندیہ انتہائی خوش آئند اور نیک شگون عمل ہے۔ اس کانفرنس میں ملک بھر سے صنعت کے تاجر، ماہرین شریک ہوں گے اور خاص طور پر گجرات اور بہاول پور چیمبر آف کامرس کے ایوان ہائے صنعت کے عہدیداران اور کاروباری افراد جو بہاول پور کی کاروباری ترقی کے لیے ایک لائحہ عمل ترتیب دیے گے۔
