Certificate Awarding Ceremony for IUB Students Societies (Term 2022) and Special Session with Dr M Affan Qaiser

Directorate of Students Affairs, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized the ceremony of distributing certificates to the office bearers of the student societies of the year 2022 held at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob was the chief guest of the event. Renowned motivational speaker Dr. Muhammad Affan Qaiser also participated on this occasion, who gave a special lecture to the students on the topic of highlighting their leadership skills and preparing a plan for the future. Dr. Azhar Hussain, representing the Directorate of Student Affairs, said that on the special instructions of the Vice-Chancellor, student societies were established in the university in order to highlight leadership among students and to play a useful role in the society by becoming active professionals. The establishment of these student societies started in the year 2019. At present 29 student societies are functioning where students organize various activities based on their themes and full support and guidance is provided by the Directorate of Students. Dr. Azhar Hussain thanked Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob for special support and patronage in the establishment of student societies and their activities. At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed among the officials in the presence of the advisor of the student societies.

ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام سال 2022 کی طلباء سوسائٹیز کے عہدیداران میں اسناد تقسیم کرنے کی تقریب بغد ادالجدید کیمپس میں منعقد ہوئی۔ وائس چانسلراسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب تقریب کے مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ اس موقع پر نامور موٹیویشنل سپیکر ڈاکٹرمحمد عفان قیصر بھی شریک ہوئے جنہوں نے طلباء طالبات کو اپنی قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کو اجاگر کرنے اور مستقبل کا لائحہ عمل تیار کرنے کے موضوع پرخصوصی لیکچر دیا۔ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز کی نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین نے کہا کہ وائس چانسلر کی خصوصی ہدایت پر طلباء و طالبات میں لیڈر شپ اجاگر کرنے اور فعال پروفیشنل بن کر معاشرے میں مفید کردار ادا کرنے کے حوالے سے یونیورسٹی میں طلباء سوسائٹیز کا قیام عمل میں آیا۔ ان طلباء سوسائٹیز کا قیام سال 2019 میں شروع ہوا۔ یونیورسٹی میں ڈیپارٹمنٹل لیول، فیکلٹی لیول اور سٹوڈنٹس کلب بھی کام کر رہے ہیں۔ اس وقت 29 طلباء سوسائٹیز کام کر رہی ہیں جہاں طلباء وطالبات اپنے موضوعات کے اعتبار سے مختلف سرگرمیاں منعقد کرتے ہیں اور ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف سٹوڈنٹس کی جانب سے مکمل تعاون اور رہنمائی فراہم کی جاتی ہے۔ ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین نے سٹوڈنٹس سوسائٹیز کے قیام اور ان کی سرگرمیوں میں خصوصی تعاون اور سرپرستی پر وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کا ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز رضوان مجید اور اپنی جانب سے شکریہ ادا کیا۔ تقریب کے آخر میں طلباء سوسائٹیز کے ایڈوائزرکی موجودگی میں عہدیداروں میں اسناد تقسیم کیں گئیں۔
