Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Captain (retd) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal accompanied by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob paid a detailed visit to Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus and reviewed the teaching, research and development activities. Commissioner Bahawalpur praised the Vice Chancellor's vision for the expansion and development of the University and its global acceptance. Addressing the ongoing training program for teachers at the Executive Training Center during his visit, he said that teachers are the architects of the nation and hold the most prominent and high status in the society. On this occasion, Commissioner Bahawalpur was informed that the teaching system in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is in accordance with the Higher Education Commission and international standards. For this purpose, regular teacher training is conducted with the participation of teachers from all campuses. Captain (retd) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal discussed with the teachers about the teaching activities, semester and curriculum. During a visit to the University College of Art and Design, he praised the works of art created by the faculty and students and described them as a reflection of high artistic abilities. He said that the new building of College of Art and Design in the style of Fort Derawar is visible. The Vice Chancellor briefed him about the four major buildings under construction under Public Private Partnership and said that these buildings would be completed within a few months. Commissioner Bahawalpur appreciated the construction of buildings under Public Private Partnership. He said that the 2.5 MW solar power project is in line with the needs of renewable energy. Commissioner Bahawalpur visited the University College of Nursing and interacted with the faculty and students. He said that the teaching programs started by Jamia Islamia in the field of Allied Health Sciences are commendable. According to the manpower will be available. He said that flower bouquets and artwork prepared by the university would be displayed in a cultural exhibition in Lahore.

کمشنر بہاولپور ڈویژن کیپٹن ریٹائرڈ محمد ظفر اقبال نے وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورانجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کے ہمراہ بغداد الجدید کیمپس کا تفصیلی دورہ کیا اور تدریسی، تحقیقی اور ترقیاتی سرگرمیوں کا جائزہ لیا۔ کمشنر بہاولپور نے یونیورسٹی کی توسیع و ترقی و عالمی سطح پر پذیرائی پر وائس چانسلر کے ویژن کی تعریف کی۔ اپنے دورے کے دوران ایگزیکٹو ٹریننگ سنٹر میں اساتذہ کے لیے جاری ٹریننگ پروگرام سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ اساتذہ قوم کے معمار ہیں اور معاشرے میں سب سے ممتاز اور اعلیٰ مرتبے کے حامل ہیں۔ اس موقع پر کمشنر بہاولپور کو بتایا گیا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں تدریسی نظام ہائر یجوکیشن کمیشن اور عالمی معیارات کے مطابق ہے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے اساتذہ کی باقاعدگی سے ٹریننگ کی جاتی ہے جس میں تمام کیمپسز کے اساتذہ شریک ہوتے ہیں۔ کیپٹن ریٹائرڈ محمد ظفر اقبال نے اس موقع پر اساتذہ سے تدریسی سرگرمیوں، سمیسٹر اور نصاب سے متعلق تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کے دورے کے موقع پر انہوں نے اساتذہ اور طلبا کے بنائے گئے فن پاروں کی تعریف کی اور اعلیٰ فنی صلاحیتوں کا عکاس قرار دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کی قلعہ ڈارو کی طرز پر نئی عمارت قابل دید ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے انہیں پبلک پرائیوٹ پارٹنر شپ کے تحت زیر تعمیر 4بڑی عمارات سے متعلق بریفنگ دی اور کہا کہ یہ عمارتیں چند ماہ کے اندر مکمل ہو جائیں گی۔کمشنر بہاولپور نے پبلک پرائیوٹ پارٹنر شپ کے تحت عمارات کی تعمیر کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 2.5میگا واٹ شمسی توانائی کا منصوبہ قابل تجدید توانائی کی ضروریات سے ہم آہنگ ہے۔ کمشنر بہاولپور نے یونیورسٹی کالج آف نرسنگ کا دورہ کیا اور فیکلٹی اور طلباء وطالبات سے تبادلہ خیال کیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے شعبے میں جامعہ اسلامیہ کی جانب سے شروع کیے گئے تدریسی پروگرام قابل ستائش ہیں جن سے ملکی اور عالمی ضروریات کے مطابق افراد قوت میسر آئے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کے تیار کردہ پھولوں کے گلدستے اور آرٹ ورک کو لاہور میں ہونے والی ثقافتی نمائش میں پیش کیا جائے گا۔
