Four day-care centers, provided by the Punjab government, have been made operational across various campuses of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Irfan Ali Kathia, Commissioner of Bahawalpur Division, inaugurated a day-care center at the Khawaja Fareed Campus today, accompanied by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. On this occasion, the focal person Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Professor Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha Director, Student Affairs provided a detailed briefing regarding the operationalization of these centers. Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia stated that the district administration would extend full support to these day-care centers. He directed that trained surplus staff from the Population Welfare Department be deployed at these facilities. The Commissioner also instructed Rescue 1122 to implement safety measures for the centers. Additionally, Professor Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, briefed the Commissioner on the teaching and research activities at the Khawaja Fareed Campus. Finally, the Commissioner, along with the Vice-Chancellor, distributed certificates of appreciation to the faculty and staff members who played an active role in establishing these day-care centers.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں پنجاب حکومت کی جانب سے فراہم کردہ چار ڈے کیئر سینٹرز مختلف کیمپسز میں فعال کر دیئے گئے ہیں ۔ کمشنر بہاول پور ڈویژن عرفان علی کاٹھیا نے وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پورپروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کے ہمراہ آج خواجہ فرید کیمپس میں ڈے کیئر سنٹر کا افتتاح کیا۔ اس موقع پرفوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز اور پروفیسرڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز نے یونیورسٹی میں ڈے کیئر سینٹرز کے فعال ہونے سے متعلق تفصیلی آگاہ کیا۔ کمشنر بہاولپور عرفان علی کاٹھیا نے کہا کہ ضلعی انتظامیہ ان ڈے کیئر سینٹرز کے لیے بھرپور معاونت فراہم کرے گی۔ انہوں نے ہدایت کی کہ پاپولیشن ویلفیئر ڈیپارٹمنٹ کا تربیت یافتہ سٹاف ان ڈے کیئر سینٹرز پر تعینات کیا جائے۔ کمشنر بہاولپور نے ریسکیو 1122 کو بھی ہدایت کی کہ وہ ان ڈے کیئر سینٹرز کی سیفٹی کے لحاظ سے اقدامات کرے۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی و فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبیں نے کمشنر بہاولپور عرفان علی کاٹھیا کو خواجہ فرید کیمپس میں تدریسی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں سے متعلق بھی آگاہ کیا۔ کمشنر بہاولپور نے وائس چانسلر کے ہمراہ ڈے کیئر سینٹرز کے قیام میں فعال کردار ادا کرنے والے فیکلٹی اور سٹاف ممبران میں توصیفی اسناد بھی تقسیم کیں۔اس موقع پرپروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد رافع، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اسداللہ مدنی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹررئیس اختر اور دیگر اساتذہ بھی موجود تھے۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
