Day 02: 1st International Harmony Summit and the 2nd International Conference organized by the IUB

The first International Harmony Summit and the second international conference organized by the Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, concluded. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran was the chief guest of the closing session. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor also inaugurated a calligraphy exhibition on the occasion and appreciated the calligraphy samples made on the theme of harmony and mutual respect between religions. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Herman Roburg, Head School of Religion and Philosophy, Minhaj University Lahore, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Chairman Department of Law, Shifa, Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad, Dr. Bulent Seny, Muslim Representative/Professor Bursa uludag University, Turkey, Kesoo Mal Kheal Das, Ministry of State Ministry of Religious Affairs and Harmony, Government of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Dean and Focal Person Dr. Sajila Kausar spoke. An international solidarity walk was also held at the end of the ceremony. The participants said that the role of religions in human history is of utmost importance and that nations and cultures are formed on their basis, and that these positive aspects can also prove to be effective as the basis for resolving all conflicts.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں شعبہ ادیانِ عالم و بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عربیک اسٹڈیز کے زیر اہتمام پہلی بین الاقوامی ہارمنی سمٹ اور دوسری بین الاقوامی کانفرنس اختتام پذیر ہو گئی۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اختتامی سیشن کے مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر نے کانفرنس کی مناسبت سے خطاطی نمائش کا بھی افتتاح کیا اور مذاہب کی ہم آہنگی اور باہمی احترام کے تھیم پر بنائے گئے کیلی گرافی کے نمونوں کی تعریف کی۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ہرمن روبورگ ہیڈ سکول آف ریلیجن اینڈ فلسفہ منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد مشتاق چیئرمین شعبہ لاء شفاع تعمیر  ملت یونیورسٹی اسلام آباد، ڈاکٹر بیلنٹ سینائے مسلم نمائندہ/ پروفیسر برسا الوداغ یونیورسٹی ترکیہ، کیسو مل کھیال داس منسٹری آف اسٹیٹ منسٹری آف مذہبی امور اور ہم آہنگی گورنمنٹ آف پاکستان ،پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن ڈین اور فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر نے خطاب کیا۔تقریب کے آخر میں بین الاقوامی یکجہتی واک بھی ہوئی۔ شرکاء کا کہنا تھا کہ انسانی تاریخ میں مذاہب کا کردار انتہائی اہمیت کا حامل ہے اور انہیں کی بنیاد پر قومتیں اور ثقافتیں تشکیل پاتی ہیں اور تمام تنازعات کے حل کی بنیاد بھی یہی مثبت پہلو کارگر ثابت ہوسکتے ہیں۔
