Department of Pakistan Studies at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur hosted a seminar on Pakistan Day 2025.

Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has said that Pakistan Resolution Day reminds us of the sincere determination and continuous struggle of the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. On that day, the Muslims of India declared their struggle to obtain a separate territory for themselves and the Pakistan Resolution was passed. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran expressed these views in a message on the occasion of Pakistan Day. The Vice Chancellor said that by following the unparalleled leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other leaders and the principles of faith, unity and firm conviction, our ancestors changed the map of the world in just seven years and a new Islamic state came into existence in the form of Pakistan. He said that I believe that the teachers, administration and students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are the guarantee of Pakistan's bright future and are contributing to the development of the beloved homeland through teaching and research activities. Meanwhile, a seminar was organized in the Department of Pakistan Studies in connection with Pakistan Day. The chief guest and keynote speaker of the seminar was Professor Dr. Ayaz Muhammad Rana, former Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Social Sciences and Chairman of the Department of Political Science, Bahauddin Zakaria University Multan. The host Chairperson Dr. Rubina Yasmin and other teachers addressed the event. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Musawar Hussain Bukhari, Prof. Dr. Yasmin Rufi, Dr. Sarfaraz Batool, teachers and students.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا ہے کہ یوم پاکستان ہمیں برصغیر پاک و ہند کے مسلمانوں کے عزم صمیم اور جہدِ مسلسل کی یاد دلاتا ہے۔ اس دن مسلمانانِ ہند نے اپنے لیے ایک الگ خطہ ارضی کے حصول کے لیے جدوجہد کا اعلان کیا اور قرارداد پاکستان منظور کی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے ان خیالات کا اظہار یوم پاکستان کے موقع پر اپنے ایک پیغام میں کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح اور دیگر زعماء کی بے مثال قیادت اور ایمان اتحاد ویقین محکم کے اُصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہو کر ہمارے آباؤ اجداد نے فقط سات برس کے عرصے میں دنیا کے نقشے کو بدل کر رکھ دیا اور پاکستان کی صورت میں ایک نئی اسلامی مملکت وجود میں آئی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے اساتذہ، ملازمین اور طلبا و طالبات پاکستان کے روشن مستقبل کی ضمانت ہیں اور تدریسی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے ذریعے وطن عزیز کی ترقی میں اپنا حصہ ڈال رہے ہیں۔ دریں اثناء یوم پاکستان کے سلسلے میں شعبہ مطالعہ پاکستان میں سیمینار منعقد ہوا۔ سیمینار کے مہمان خصوصی و کلیدی مقرر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ایاز محمد رانا سابق پرو وائس چانسلر و ڈین سوشل سائنسز و چیئرمین شعبہ سیاسیات بہاءالدین زکریا یونیورسٹی ملتان تھے۔ میزبان چیئرپرسن ڈاکٹر روبینہ یاسمین اور دیگر اساتذہ نے خطاب کیا۔ تقریب میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر مصور حسین بخاری، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر یاسمین روفی، ڈاکٹر سرفراز بتول اساتذہ کرام اور طلبا و طالبات نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔
