Dr. Azhar Hussain, Associate Professor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan has successfully completed a 15-day professional training in China, held from 7 December to 21 December, 2025 entitled “Future Ready Academic Leadership: Governance Innovation and AI Integration in Higher Education,” conducted under the Advanced Training Program for Senior Academics and Administrators from Pakistani Higher Education Institutions.

The training was organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the China Association of Higher Education, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Consortium of Universities (CPEC Consortium of Universities), and hosted by Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU), China.

The program comprised academic lecture sessions along with institutional and exposure visits to Peking University, other world-ranked universities, and various higher education institutions across China. In addition, participants engaged in cultural visits, providing a broader understanding of China’s heritage and contemporary society. These activities offered participants practical insights into higher education governance, innovation in academic leadership, and the integration of artificial intelligence in contemporary academic systems.

The concluding ceremony was held at the China Association of Higher Education in Beijing. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Gao Xiaojie, Deputy Secretary-General, China Association of Higher Education.

The ceremony featured addresses by Mr. Zhang Daliang, Vice President, China Association of Higher Education, Ms. Aayesha Ikram, Director General (Global Cooperation), Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and Mr. Zhu Pengxiao, Vice President, Tianjin Foreign Studies University.

Certificates were awarded by Prof. Dr. Zheng Siming, Vice Dean, Tianjin Foreign Studies University, China.

Dr. Azhar Hussain was among the 25 members delegations from various universities of Pakistan selected for this prestigious training program.

ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پاکستان نے چین میں 7 دسمبر سے 21 دسمبر 2025 تک منعقد ہونے والی 15 روزہ پیشہ ورانہ تربیت کامیابی کے ساتھ مکمل کی ہے۔ "مستقبل کے لیے تیار تعلیمی قیادت: اعلیٰ تعلیم میں گورننس انوویشن اور اے آئی انٹیگریشن" کے عنوان سے اس تربیت کا اہتمام پاکستان کے ہائیر ایجوکیشن کمیشن ایچ ای سی چائنا ایسوسی ایشن آف ہائر ایجوکیشن چائنا پاکستان اکنامک کوریڈور کنسورشیم آف یونیورسٹیز سی پی ای سی کنسورشیم آف یونیورسٹیز نے کیا تھا اور اس کی میزبانی تیانجن فارن اسٹڈیز یونیورسٹی ٹی ایف ایس یو نے کی۔ اس پروگرام میں تعلیمی لیکچر سیشنز کے ساتھ ساتھ پیکنگ یونیورسٹی دیگر عالمی درجہ کی یونیورسٹیوں اور چین بھر کے مختلف اعلیٰ تعلیمی اداروں کے ادارہ جاتی دوروں پر مشتمل تھا۔ شرکاء نے ثقافتی دوروں میں چین کے ورثے اور معاصر معاشرے کا تفصیلی مطالعہ کیا۔ ان سرگرمیوں نے شرکاء کو اعلیٰ تعلیم کی گورننس تعلیمی قیادت میں جدت اور عصری تعلیمی نظاموں میں مصنوعی ذہانت کے انضمام کے بارے میں عملی تربیت فراہم کی گئی۔ اختتامی تقریب بیجنگ میں چائنا ایسوسی ایشن آف ہائر ایجوکیشن میں منعقد ہوئی۔ تقریب کی میزبانی چائنا ایسوسی ایشن آف ہائر ایجوکیشن کی ڈپٹی سیکرٹری جنرل گاو شیاؤ جی نے کی۔ تقریب میں چائنہ ایسوسی ایشن آف ہائر ایجوکیشن کے نائب صدر مسٹر ژانگ ڈالیانگ پاکستان کے ہائیر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی ڈائریکٹر جنرل گلوبل کوآپریشن عائشہ اکرام اور تیانجن فارن اسٹڈیز یونیورسٹی کے نائب صدر مسٹر ژو پینگ شیاؤ نے خطاب کیا۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر زینگ سمنگ وائس ڈین تیانجن فارن اسٹڈیز یونیورسٹی چین نے شرکا کو سرٹیفکیٹس سے نوازا۔ ڈاکٹر اظہر حسین اس جامع تربیتی پروگرام کے لیے پاکستان کی مختلف یونیورسٹیوں کے 25 رکنی وفود میں شامل تھے۔
