Dr. Saba Saeed, from the Institute of Physics IUB, represented the University in an international conference in Lahore

Dr. Saba Saeed, Assistant Professor, the Institute of Physics the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, represented the institute and University in an international conference as an invited speaker. The conference was a joint venture between Department of Physics, Lahore College for Women University and Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, Punjab University Lahore. She presented her latest work on the synthesis of nanoparticles from the waste materials. She also emphasized on the role of women in the research and development and encouraged students to play their role in the development of society. Her talk was highly applauded by the audience, and she received certificate by Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission. Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmad Buzdar, Director Institute of Physics and Dean Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences congratulated Dr. Saba Saeed and appreciated her participation in the conference.

ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف فزکس لاہور کالج فار ویمن یونیورسٹی اور سنٹر آف ایکسی لینس ان سالڈ سٹیٹ فزکس پنجاب یونیورسٹی لاہور کے اشتراک سے منعقد ہونے والی بین الاقوامی کانفرنس میں ڈاکٹر صبا سعید اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس اور یونیورسٹی کی نمائندگی کی۔ ڈاکٹر صبا سعید نے فالتو مواد سے نینو پارٹیکلز کی ترکیب پر خصوصی لیکچر دیا۔ انہوں نے تحقیق اور ترقی میں خواتین کے کردار پر بھی زور دیا اور طلباء کو معاشرے کی ترقی میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنے کی ترغیب دی۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شاہد منیر چیئرمین پنجاب ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن نے انہیں توصیفی سرٹیفکیٹ دیا۔ وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد بزدار، ڈائریکٹر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس اور ڈین فیکلٹی آف فزیکل اینڈ میتھ میٹیکل سائنسز نے ڈاکٹر صبا سعید کو مبارکباد دی اور کانفرنس میں ان کی شرکت کو سراہا۔
