Dr. Zafar Iqbal, a prominent educationist and Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, retired on completion of his services. During his 31 years of service, Dr. Zafar Iqbal worked tirelessly for the development of the university and the department and the promotion of education. During this time, his students brought glory to Pakistan at the national and international levels and achieved remarkable achievements. On the occasion of Dr. Zafar Iqbal’s retirement, the officers, teachers and students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur appreciated his services. Dr. Zafar Iqbal’s role in raising the standard of education in Bahawalpur and creating a scholarly environment among students and teachers was commendable.

بہاولپور (پ ر) ممتاز ماہر تعلیم اور شعبہ شماریات اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ظفر اقبال مدت ملازمت مکمل ہونے پر ریٹائرڈ ہوگئے۔ ڈاکٹر ظفر اقبال 31 سالہ سروس کے دوران جامعہ اور شعبہ کی ترقی اور تعلیم کے فروغ کے لیے ہمہ وقت کوشاں رہے۔ اس دوران آپ کے طلبہ و طالبات نے ملکی و غیر ملکی سطح پر پاکستان کا نام روشن کیا اور قابلِ ذکر کامیابیاں حاصل کیں۔ ڈاکٹر ظفر اقبال کے ریٹائر ہونے کے موقع پر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے افسران، اساتذہ اور طلبہ نے ان کی خدمات کو سراہا۔ بہاولپور میں تعلیمی معیار کو بلند کرنے اور طلبہ و اساتذہ کے درمیان علمی ماحول بنانے میں ڈاکٹر ظفر اقبال کا کردار قابلِ ستائش رہا۔
