Federal government has appointed Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain as a member of the Chinese government's agricultural projects

Bahawalpur (PR) The federal government has appointed Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Environment the Islamia University of Bahawalpur as a member of the research support group for agriculture projects from the Chinese government. Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi is serving as Dean of Faculty of Agricultural and Environment, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and has extensive practical experience in the field of agriculture in Pakistan. In a meeting held in Islamabad recently, Federal Minister for Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain presided over the meeting of Vice Chancellors and formed several working groups to support the Chinese government. The purpose of these groups is to provide assistance in the implementation of agricultural projects with China from launch to completion. Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali, the chairman of the working group has been appointed to assist in research, while the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi, Vice Chancellor University of Veterinary and Animal Science Lahore Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus Rana and Vice Chancellor Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture Multan Prof. Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad Rajwana have been appointed members. The purpose of forming this group is to identify the problems faced by the agricultural sector in Pakistan, to conduct research on crops and seeds that are capable of withstanding the harshest climates and to draw up a coherent plan of action in the future so that future agricultural development can be improved. Problems in the sector can be avoided and solutions can be found based on research.

بہاول پور (پ ر) وفاقی حکومت نے چینی حکومت سے ایگری کلچر پروجیکٹس کے تحقیقی معاون گروپ کیلئے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین ترابی کو بطور ممبر مقرر کیا ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین تُرابی بطور ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایگری کلچر اینڈ انوائرنمنٹ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔ وہ پاکستان میں زراعت کے شعبہ میں وسیع عملی تجربہ رکھتے ہیں۔ گزشتہ دِنوں اسلام آباد میں منعقدہ ایک اجلاس میں وفاقی وزیر برائے فوڈ سکیورٹی اینڈ ریسرچ رانا تنویر حسین نے وائس چانسلرز کے اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے چینی حکومت کے ساتھ معاونت کے لئے کئی ورکنگ گروپس تشکیل دیے۔ اِن گروپس کا مقصد چین کے ساتھ ایگری کلچر پروجیکٹس کے اجراء سے تکمیل تک معاونت فراہم کرنا ہے۔ ریسرچ میں معاونت کیلئے ورکنگ گروپ کے چیئرمین ڈاکٹر غلام محمد علی بنائے گئے ہیں جبکہ ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایگری کلچر اینڈ انوائرنمنٹ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین ترابی، وائس چانسلر یونیورسٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنس لاہور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد یونس رانا اور وائس چانسلر محمد نواز شریف یونیورسٹی آف ایگرکلچر ملتان پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اشتیاق احمد رجوانہ کو ممبر تعینات کیا گیا ہے۔ اس گروپ کی تشکیل کا مقصد پاکستان میں زرعی شعبہ کو درپیش مسائل کی نشاندہی کرنا، فصلوں اور بیجوں کے متعلق تحقیق کرنا ہے جو سخت ترین موسم کو برداشت کرنے کی صلاحیت رکھتی ہیں اور مستقل میں ایک مربوط لائحہ عمل مرتب کرنا ہے تاکہ آئندہ زرعی شعبہ میں مسائل سے بچا جاسکے اور تحقیق کی بنیاد پر حل تلاش کیے جاسکیں۔
