Female cricket tournament on the eve of International Women's Day and 100th anniversary celebrations of IUB

In connection with the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the Directorate of Female Sports in collaboration with the IUB Sports Society organized a women’s cricket tournament at the Main Cricket Ground, Baghdad ul-Jadeed Campus, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf were present. A special match between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Tareen Cricket Academy added more excitement to the event. The IUB team won the toss and decided to bat first, scoring a total of 133 runs. In reply, Tareen Cricket Academy could only score 70 runs and Islamia University of Bahawalpur achieved a resounding victory. The final of the inter-faculty matches was played between the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Law. The Faculty of Law won the match and was declared the winner, while the Faculty of Pharmacy secured the runner-up position. The event was also attended by Additional Director Students Affairs Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari, Director Women Sports Dr. Ambrain and Advisor Dr. Muhammad Umair Riaz, under the supervision of IUB Sports Promotion Society.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی 100 سالہ تقریبات کے سلسلے میں  ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف فیمیل سپورٹس نے آئی یو بی سپورٹس سوسائٹی کے تعاون سے مین کرکٹ گراؤنڈ بغدادالجدید کیمپس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں خواتین کرکٹ ٹورنامنٹ کا انعقاد کیا۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرؤف نے خصوصی شرکت کی۔  اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور اور ترین کرکٹ اکیڈمی کے درمیان سپیشل میچ نے ایونٹ میں مزید جوش پیدا کردیا۔ آئی یو بی ٹیم نے ٹاس جیت کر پہلے بلے بازی کا فیصلہ کیا، مجموعی طور پر 133 رنز بنائے۔ جواب میں ترین کرکٹ اکیڈمی صرف 70 رنز بنا سکی اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے شاندار فتح حاصل کی۔ انٹر فیکلٹی میچز میں فائنل فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی اور فیکلٹی آف لاء کے درمیان کھیلا گیا۔ فیکلٹی آف لاء میچ جیت کرفتح قرار پائی جبکہ فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی نے رنر اپ پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ اس موقع پر ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر سٹوڈنٹس افیئرز ڈاکٹر محمد عدنان بخاری نے بھی شرکت کی ڈاکٹر عنبرین ڈائریکٹر خواتین سپورٹس اور ڈاکٹر محمد عمیر ریاض ایڈوائزر، آئی یو بی سپورٹس پروموشن سوسائٹی کی نگرانی میں کیا گیا۔
