Flood Relief Cell IUB distributed Eid package ration and medicines to 250 flood affected families in DG Khan Division

On the direction of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, flood relief cell the Islamia University of Bahawalpur distributed Eid package ration and medicines to 250 families of Basti Chattran and Basti Ahmadani in flood affected areas of Dera Ghazi Khan district and Rajan pur district. Focal Person Flood Relief Cell Prof, Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha said that a special team of the University Flood Relief Cell delivered relief goods to the flood victims of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajan pur districts on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha on the instructions of the Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. A special team of teachers and students reached the affected areas of Dera Ghazi Khan and delivered the goods. It is worth mentioning that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Flood Relief Cell has been established under the direction of Governor Punjab Engr. Muhammad Baligh ur Rehman and till now the goods worth Rs.3 crore 20 lac have been distributed to the flood victims.

وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کی ہدایت پر فلڈ ریلیف سیل اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام ضلع ڈیرہ غازی خان کے سیلاب متاثرہ علاقوں بستی چاٹراں اور بستی احمدانی کے 250 خاندانوں میں عید پیکج راشن اور ادویات تقسیم کیں گئیں۔ فوکل پرسن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور فلڈ ریلیف سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے بتایا کہ وائس چانسلر کی ہدایت پر عیدالاضحی کے موقع پر ڈیرہ غازی خان اور راجن پور کے اضلاع کے سیلاب متاثرین تک یونیورسٹی فلڈ ریلیف سیل کی خصوصی ٹیم نے امدادی سامان پہنچایا۔ اساتذہ اور طلباء و طالبات کی خصوصی ٹیم ڈیرہ غازی خان کے متاثرہ علاقوں میں پہنچی اور آمدادی سامان پہنچایا۔ یہ بات قابل ذکر ہے کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور فلڈ ریلیف سیل گورنر پنجاب انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن کی ہدایت پر قائم کیا گیا ہے اور اب تک 3 کروڑ 20 لاکھ روپے کی آمدادی اشیاء سیلاب زدگان میں تقسیم کی جا چکی ہیں۔
