Two famous personalities Mr. Shakir Shuja Abadi and Mr. Javed Chaudhry were awarded honorary degrees of Ph.D
Pakistan's famous journalist and writer Mr. Javed Chaudhry (Sitara-i-Imtiaz) and Pakistan's famous Siraiki poet Mr. Shafi Shakir Shujaabadi (Sitara-i-Imtiaz) were awarded the honorary degree of PhD. In this regard, a special convocation was held on November 11, 2023 at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. The chief guest was Punjab Governor and Chancellor of IUB Engr Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman.
