Governor Punjab and Chancellor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan Approves Appointment of Regular Deans at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur
Following the approval of the Governor of Punjab and Chancellor, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, has issued notifications for the appointment of regular Deans at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB). According to the notifications, the following appointments have been made:
Prof. Dr. Amir Sohail — Dean, Faculty of Arts & Languages
Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen — Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy
Prof. Dr. Rao Imran Habib — Dean, Faculty of Law
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad — Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology
The appointments have been made with immediate effect for a period of three years or until the respective appointees reach the age of superannuation, whichever occurs earlier. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed Deans and conveyed his best wishes for their successful tenure. He expressed hope that the newly appointed Deans would utilize their academic expertise, professional experience, and effective leadership to promote academic excellence, research, innovation, and institutional development at the university. The Vice Chancellor also emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation, effective academic administration, and collective efforts to further improve the university’s educational standards and strengthen its academic reputation. These appointments mark an important step towards strengthening the academic leadership of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and advancing its mission of quality education, research, and service to society.

بہاولپور: گورنر پنجاب و چانسلر سردار سلیم حیدر خان کی منظوری کے بعد محکمہ ہائر ایجوکیشن حکومت پنجاب نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں مستقل ڈینز کی تقرریوں کے نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیے ہیں۔جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشنز کے مطابق پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عامر سہیل ڈین، فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ لینگویجز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبین ڈین، فیکلٹی آف فارمیسیپروفیسر ڈاکٹر راؤ عمران حبیب ڈین، فیکلٹی آف لاء اورپروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد امجد ڈین، فیکلٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی تعینات ہو گئے۔اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے نومنتخب ڈینز کو دلی مبارک باد پیش کی اور ان کے لیے کامیاب مدتِ ذمہ داری کی نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا۔انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ نومنتخب ڈینز اپنی علمی مہارت، پیشہ ورانہ تجربے اور مؤثر قیادت کو بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے جامعہ میں تعلیمی معیار کی بہتری، تحقیق کے فروغ، جدت طرازی اور ادارہ جاتی ترقی کے لیے اپنا بھرپور کردار ادا کریں گے۔وائس چانسلر نے تعلیمی معیار کو مزید بہتر بنانے اور جامعہ کی علمی و تحقیقی ساکھ کو مضبوط کرنے کے لیے باہمی تعاون، مؤثر تعلیمی انتظام و انصرام اور اجتماعی کوششوں کی اہمیت پر بھی زور دیا۔یہ تقرریاں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں تعلیمی قیادت کو مزید مستحکم کرنے اور معیاری تعلیم، تحقیق اور معاشرتی خدمت کے مشن کو آگے بڑھانے کی جانب ایک اہم پیش ہے۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
