Grand Seminar on "The Glory of Muhammad ﷺ – The Prophet of Mercy" Organized at IUB
A grand seminar titled "The Glory of Muhammad ﷺ – The Prophet of Mercy" was organized by the Qira’at and Naat Society under the Directorate of Students Affairs, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, at the Khawaja Ghulam Farid Auditorium, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. The keynote speaker was Professor Dr. Abdul Rehman, former Principal of Postgraduate College Bahawalpur. Guests of honor included Professor Dr. Yasmeen Rufi, Director, School of State Sciences, Professor Dr. Zia-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Department of Quranic Studies, Dr. Sujeela Kausar, Chairperson, Department of Comparative Religion and Dr. Adnan Bukhari, Additional Director of Student Affairs Societies. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Shabana Nazar, Advisor of the IUB Qira’at and Naat Society. In his keynote address, Professor Dr. Abdul Rehman highlighted the glory of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, beautifully illustrating his noble character and exemplary life. He captivated the audience with inspiring examples of the Prophet’s mercy, patience, forgiveness, and forbearance, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere throughout the event.

قرأت اینڈ نعت سوسائٹی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اسٹوڈنٹس افئیرز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام خواجہ غلام فرید آڈیٹوریم بغدادالجدید کیمپس میں عظیم الشان سیمینار بعنوان شان محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم ونبی رحمت کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ مہمان مقرر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالرحمن صاحب سابقہ پرنسپل پوسٹ گریجویٹ کالج بہاولپور تھے۔ تقریب کے مہمانان اعزاز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر یاسمین روفی ڈائریکٹر سکول آف سٹیٹ سائنسز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضیاءالرحمن چیئرمین ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف قرآنک اسٹڈیز، ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر چیئر پرسن شعبہ تقابل ادیان اور ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افئیرز سوسائٹیز ڈاکٹر عدنان بخاری تھے۔  خطبہ استقبالیہ ڈاکٹر شبانہ نذر ایڈوائزر آئی یو بی قرأت اینڈ نعت سوسائٹی نے پیش کیا۔ مہمان مقرر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبد الرحمن نے اپنے خطاب میں شان محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم پر روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے آپ صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وسلم کی سیرت اور حیات طیبہ سے مثالیں بیان فرمائیں۔ آپ کی رحم دلی، بردباری، عفو و درگزر کو خوبصورتی سے بیان کرتے ہوئے محفل میں سماں باندھ دیا۔
