IUB has Launched Big Admission Campaign for Fall Admission 2021

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has launched big admission campaign for Fall Admission 2021. This year, the campuses of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan are offering admissions in 118 Bachelors, 61 in M.Phil and 55 in Ph.D. morning and evening programs. On the direction of Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, as last year, a Central Admission Cell and liaison office has been set up at Abbasia Campus under the Directorate of Academics and Directorate of IT. Special admission facilities have been set up in Khanpur, Liaquatpur, Ahmadpur East, Haroonabad, Sadiqabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Zahir Pir, Rajanpur, Manchinabad, Fort Abbas, Chishtian and Lodhran for the convenience of students and parents of remote areas of Bahawalpur Division and where information and guidance on admissions, career counseling and online application facilities will be provided. It is worth mentioning that the establishment of the best online admission portal and central admission cell at Islamia University of Bahawalpur last year resulted in nearly 90,000 applications for fall and spring admissions and 22,000 male and female students were admitted. A special bus service has been launched for the towns around Bahawalpur on the special directive of the government and 13 new buses have been added to the transport fleet and 20 new buses are being procured. Medical facilities at all campuses were upgraded and 3 new ambulances were provided. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur became the first Hepatitis Free University in the country. In terms of scholarships, Rs. 700 million has been allocated under Prime Minister's Ehsas Scholarship, HEC Need Based, PEF, British Scholarship and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarships. Sports facilities increased significantly, the sports complex was upgraded and a modern gymnasium was set up. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is one of the few universities in the country where the Covid-19 crisis did not allow students to suffer academic losses and the semester was completed by launching online classes on time and now full preparations are underway for the next semester.

بہاول پور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں فال ایڈمیشن 2021کی بڑی داخلہ مہم جاری ہے۔ امسال بہاول پور، بہاولنگر اور رحیم یار خان کے  کیمپسز میں بیچلرز کے 118َِِ، ایم فل میں 61اور پی ایچ ڈی میں 55مارننگ اور ایوننگ پروگراموں میں داخلے فراہم کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر کی ہدایت پر گزشتہ سال کی طرح عباسیہ کیمپس میں ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اکیڈمکس اور ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف آئی ٹی کے زیر اہتمام مرکزی ایڈمیشن سیل ورابطہ دفتر قائم کر دیا گیا ہے۔کووڈ 19وباء کے پیش نظر گزشتہ سال کی طرح  اس سال بھی ڈویژن بہاول پور کے دور افتادہ علاقوں کے طلباء وطالبات اور والدین کی سہولت کے لیے خان پور، لیاقت پور، احمد پور ایسٹ، ہارون آباد، صادق آباد، رحیم یار خان، ظاہر پیر، راجن پور، منچن آباد، فورٹ عباس، چشتیاں اور لودھراں میں خصوصی داخلہ سہولت مراکز قائم کر دئیے گئے ہیں جہاں پر داخلوں سے متعلق معلومات اور رہنمائی، کیریئر کونسلنگ اور آن لائن اپلائی کرنے سے متعلق سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی۔ اس کے علاوہ ڈویژن بھر کے ملحقہ کالجز میں طلباء وطالبات کے لیے خصوصی سیمینار بھی منعقد کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ یہ بات قابلِ ذکر ہے کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور میں گزشتہ سال بہترین آن لائن داخلہ پورٹل اور مرکزی ایڈمیشن سیل کے قیام کے نتیجے میں فال اور سپرنگ داخلوں کے لیے قریباً 90ہزار درخواستیں موصول ہوئیں اور 22ہزار طلباء وطالبات داخلہ لینے میں کامیاب ہوئے۔وائس چانسلر کی خصوصی ہدایت پر بہاول پور کے نواحی قصبوں کے لیے خصوصی بس سروس کا آغاز کیا گیا اور ٹرانسپورٹ فلیٹ میں 13نئی بسوں کا اضافہ کیا گیا اور 20نئی بسوں کی خریدای کی جا رہی ہیں۔ تمام کیمپسز میں میڈیکل کی سہولیات کو اپ گریڈ کیا گیا اور 3نئی ایمبولینسیں فراہم کی گئیں۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور ملک کی پہلی ہیپا ٹائٹس فری یونیورسٹی بن گئی۔ سکالرشپس کی مد میں وزیر اعظم احساس سکالرشپ، ایچ ای سی نیڈ بیسڈ، پیف، برٹش سکالرشپ اور پاکستان بیت المال وظائف کے تحت 70کروڑ روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔ کھیلوں کی سہولیات میں نمایاں اضافہ ہوا، سپورٹس کمپلکس کو اَپ گریڈ کیا گیا اور جدید سہولیات سے آراستہ جمنیزیم قائم کیا گیا۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور ملک کی اُن چند جامعات میں شامل ہے جہاں کووڈ 19بحران سے طلباء کا تعلیمی نقصان نہیں ہونے دیا اور آن لائن کلاسز کا بروقت اجرا ء کر کے سمسٹر مکمل کر لیا گیا اور اب آئندہ سمسٹر کے لیے بھر پور تیاریاں جاری ہیں۔
