Inaugural Day of 11th International Seerat-ul-Nabi Conference was held at Islamia University of Bahawalpur

The 11th International Conference organized by the Seerat Chair Islamia University of Bahawalpur in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission begun at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus today. The conference, which is on the subject of respect for rights in Seerat-un-Nabi Peace Be Upom Him and the requirements of the present era, intellectual basis, practical criticism and cultural formation, is attended by senior scholars from Arab countries and Pakistan. The conference was inaugurated by former Governor of Punjab Engineer Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman and presided over by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran. In his address on the occasion, Engineer Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman said that scholars from all over the world are welcomed to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The topic of the conference is respect for rights and domestic and foreign delegates are discussing various topics. During his tenure as the Minister of Education, he made efforts to adapt the curriculum of Pakistan's schools in accordance with Islamic ideologies and implemented the 40-year-old educational curriculum by clarifying it on Islamic principles. Similarly, he made Quranic education mandatory from the first to the twelfth grade. As governor, he paid great attention to character building in universities.  Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a university with a great Islamic foundation and today's conference is a rich reflection of this. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran said in his presidential address that Jamia Islamia is playing a full role in the dissemination of religious sciences along with contemporary sciences. The organization of the 11th International Conference under the Seerat Chair is proof that we are striving to promote the religion of Islam and convey it to the new generation. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiqur-ur-Rehman thanked the national and foreign delegates participating in the conference and appreciated the cooperation of the Higher Education Commission. Conference Focal Person Professor Dr. Hafiz Shafiqur-ur-Rehman said that in the three-day conference, national and foreign experts will highlight various aspects of Seerat-un-Nabi.  On this occasion, Professor Dr. Suleman bin Hamad Al-Huda, Professor Dr. Muhammad Khazer Saleh Al-Majali, Professor Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Ali Al-Lam, Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Razzaq Aswad, Professor Dr. Ismail Muhammad Shindi delivered keynote speeches. On this occasion, Member Provincial Assembly Rana Muhammad Tariq Khan, Former Member Provincial Assembly Fawzia Ayub Qureshi, Professor Dr. Kulsoom Paracha, Vice Chancellor Women University Multan, faculty and students participated in large numbers.

سیرت چیئر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے تعاون سے 11 ویں بین الاقوامی کانفرنس کا آغاز ہوگیا۔ سیرت النبی میں حقوق کی پاسداری اور عصر حاضر کے تقاضے، فکری اساس، عملی تنقید اور تمدنی تشکیل کے موضوع پر ہونے والی اس کانفرنس میں عرب ممالک اور پاکستان سے سینئر ترین علماء کرام شریک ہیں۔ کانفرنس کا افتتاح سابق گورنر پنجاب انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن نے کیا اور صدارت وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کی۔ اس موقع پر اپنے خطاب میں انجینئر محمد بلیغ الرحمن نے کہا کہ پوری دنیا سے علمائے ملت کو اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور امد پر خوش آمدید کہتے ہیں۔ کانفرنس کا موضوع حقوق کی پاسداری انتہائی اہم ہے اور ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین متنوع موضوعات پر سیر حاصل گفتگو کررہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے وزیر تعلیم کے دور میں انہوں پاکستان کے سکولوں کے نصاب کو اسلامی نظریات کے مطابق ڈھالنے کے لیے کوششیں کیں اور 40 سالہ پرانے تعلیمی نصاب کو اسلامی اصولوں پر واضح کرکے نفاذ کیا۔ اسی طرح پہلی جماعت سے بارہویں جماعت تک قرآنی تعلیم کو لازمی قرار دیا۔ بطور گورنر انہوں نے جامعات میں کردار سازی پر بھرپور توجہ دی ۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور عظیم اسلامی اساس کی حامل جامعہ ہے اور آج کی کانفرنس اس کی بھرپور عکاس ہے ۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے صدارتی خطبے میں کہا کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ عصری علوم کے ساتھ ساتھ دینی علوم کی نشرو اشاعت میں بھرپور کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ سیرت چیئر کے زیر اہتمام 11 ویں بین الاقوامی کانفرنس کا انعقاد اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ ہم دین اسلام کی ترویج اور نئی نسل تک پہنچانے کے لیے کوشاں ہیں۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عربیک اسٹڈیز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن نے کانفرنس میں شریک ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کو شکریہ ادا کیا اور ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے تعاون کو سراہا ۔ کانفرنس فوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حافظ شفیق الرحمن نے کہا کہ تین روزہ کانفرنس میں ملکی اور غیر ملکی ماہرین سیرت النبی کے مختلف پہلوؤں کو اجاگر کریں گے۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سلیمان بن حمد الحودہ ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد خازر صالح المجالی ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد بن علی عبد العزیز بن محمد علی اللام ، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عبد الرزاق اسود، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسماعیل محمد شندی نے کلیدی خطبات پیش کیے۔ اس موقع پرممبر رکن صوبائی اسمبلی رانا محمد طارق خان، سابقہ رکن صوبائی اسمبلی فوزیہ ایوب قریشی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر کلثوم پراچہ وائس چانسلر ویمن یونیورسٹی ملتان، عمائدین شہر اور طلبا و طالبات نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔
