Inaugural session of the 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Physics held at IUB

A two-day international conference on emerging trends in the field of physics organized by the Institute of Physics, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has begun. The conference was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran. In his address, the Vice Chancellor said that physics is of fundamental importance among scientific subjects and most of the world’s discoveries, inventions and scientific progress are due to physics. He stressed that Pakistani scientists should focus on research activities on emerging trends and innovations in the field of physics so that the beloved country can progress in the scientific progress taking place at the global level. Vice Chancellor, Thal University, Bhakkar, Professor Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar, in his address, gave a detailed lecture on the evolutionary stages of physics in the past and present, research and teaching, and future prospects. He said that physics is also giving far-reaching results in the fields of climate change and medicine. Conference Secretary Dr. Alia Nazir said that in the two-day conference, domestic and foreign delegates will present papers related to materials science, medical physics, material physics, nanotechnology, renewable energy and other modern fields. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Professor Dr. Ghulam Mustafa, Director Institute of Physics Professor Dr. Altaf Hussain and Focal Person Dr. Noor-ul-Ain also spoke. Dr. Noor-ul-Ain thanked the international experts who came from all over Pakistan and participated in the conference through online means.

انسٹیٹیوٹ آف فزکس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام فزکس کے شعبے میں ابھرتے ہوئے رجحانات پر دو روزہ بین الا اقوامی کانفرنس کا آغاز ہو گیا۔ کانفرنس کا افتتاح وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کیا۔ اپنے خطاب میں وائس چانسلر نے کہا فزکس سائنسی مضامین میں بنیادی اہمیت کی حامل ہے اور دنیا کی اکثر دریافتیں و ایجادات اور سائنسی ترقی فزکس کی ہی مرہون منت ہیں۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پاکستانی سائنسدان فزکس کے شعبے میں ابھرتے ہوئے رجحانات اور جدت پر تحقیقی سرگرمیوں پر توجہ مرکوز کریں تاکہ عالمی سطح پر ہونے والی سائنسی ترقی میں وطن عزیز ترقی کرسکے۔ وائس چانسلر تھل یونیورسٹی بھکر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد بزدار نے اپنے خطاب میں فزکس کے ارتقای مراحل ماضی اور دور حاضر میں ہونے والی تحقیق و تدریس اور مستقبل کے امکانات پر تفصیلی لیکچر دیا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ فزکس کلائمیٹ چینج اور میڈیکل شعبے میں بھی دوررس کے حامل نتائج دے رہی ہے۔ کانفرنس سیکرٹری ڈاکٹر عالیہ نذیر نے کہا کہ دو روزہ کانفرنس میں ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین میٹریل سائنس میڈیکل فزکس مادی فزکس نینو ٹیکنالوجی  قابل تجدید توانائی اور دیگر جدید شعبوں سے متعلق مقالہ جات پیش کریں گے ۔ اس موقع پر ڈین فیکلٹی آف فزیکل اینڈ میتھمیٹیکل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر غلام مصطفیٰ ڈائریکٹر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس  پروفیسر ڈاکٹر الطاف حسین  اور فوکل پرسن ڈاکٹر نور العین نے بھی خطاب کیا۔ ڈاکٹر نور العین نے کانفرنس میں شریک پاکستان بھر سے آئے ہوئے اور آن لائن ذرائع سے شریک بین الاقوامی ماہرین کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
