IUB conducted a one-day seminar on "the Role of Pulpit and Mihrab in the Reformation and Development of Society."

Seerat Chair the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized a one-day seminar titled The Role of Pulpit and Mihrab in the reformation and development of society at Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi Hall Abbasia Campus. The seminar was presided over by Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Dean, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. The guest of honor of the event was Professor Allama Muhammad Yousuf Khan Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Jamia Ashrafia, Lahore. The duties of the Naqabat were performed by Dr. Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, Chairman, Department of Fiqh and Sharia. Professor Dr. Hafiz Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Director, Seerat Chair, delivered the welcome address. He expressed special gratitude to the organizers, all the participants, and the guest of honor. Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, thanked the distinguished guests and said that Jamia Islamia Bahawalpur was basically a religious seminary that eradicated the monster of sectarianism from the society and set a unique example of unity and harmony, and today's program is also a link to it. He thanked Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran for organizing and sponsoring the seminar. In his special address, the guest of honor of the event, Professor Allama Muhammad Yousaf Khan, highlighted the importance of the role of the pulpit and the mihrab in front of the audience. Along with the importance of mosques, he also presented a review in the light of the Prophet's biography for solving the problems faced by the people in their daily affairs. Along with this, he also gave several suggestions to the audience regarding the role of the pulpit and the mihrab, in the light of which an ideal society can be established. He said that the purpose of the House of Allah, which the Creator Himself has described in the Holy Quran, is undoubtedly the same purpose of every mosque, which is the guidance of the entire world, since every mosque is the house of Allah and is the real source of guidance, goodness and goodness. The mosque corrects beliefs and thoughts, and the connection with the house of Allah Almighty five times a day from morning to evening actually plays an extraordinary role in individual and social reform and development. The connection with the mosque is a cause of external and internal, physical and spiritual, purification and purification. Similarly, the mosque is the key center for obtaining the mercy, grace and blessings of the Almighty. The mosque gives birth to equality, brotherhood, sympathy, mutual cooperation, unity and agreement, good morals, mutual affection and love, tolerance, forgiveness and forgiveness, tolerance and tolerance, respect and honor, and eradicates discrimination, bad habits, negative thinking, and all other social evils. The mosque performs the duties of training in important matters such as punctuality, discipline, collective affairs and obedience to the ruler. The mosque is, in fact, the first institution for the dissemination of knowledge, the teaching of the Quran and Hadith, and education and training, which ensures the fulfillment of the individual and social rights of every individual in society, transparency in matters, and intellectual and theoretical training.

سیرت چیئر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام غلام محمد گھوٹوی ہال میں ایک روزہ سیمینار بعنوان معاشرہ کی اصلاح و تعمیر میں منبر و محراب کا کردار کے موضوع پر منعقد کیا گیا، جس میں بہاولپور شہر اور مضافاتی علاقہ جات کی مساجد کے ائمہ و خطبا کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ سیمینار کی صدارت پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمٰن ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک اسٹڈیز نے کی۔ تقریب کے مہمان اعزاز پروفیسر علامہ محمد یوسف خان شیخ الحدیث جامعہ اشرفیہ لاہور تھے۔ نقابت کے فرائض شعبہ فقہ اینڈ شریعہ کے چیئرمین ڈاکٹر محمد سعید شیخ نے ادا کیے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر حافظ شفیق الرحمٰن ڈائریکٹر سیرت چیئر نے خطبہ استقبالیہ پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے منتظمین، تمام شرکا، اور مہمان اعزاز کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا۔ صدرِ مجلس پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمٰن ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عریبک اسٹڈیز  نے معزز مہمانوں کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور کہا کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاولپور بنیادی طور ایک ایسا دینی مدرسہ تھا جس نے معاشرے سے فرقہ واریت کے عفریت کا خاتمہ کیا اور اتحاد ویگانگت کی انوکھی مثال قائم کی، آج کا پروگرام بھی اسی کی ایک کڑی ہے۔ انہوں نے سیمینار کے انعقاد اور سرپرستی پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ تقریب کے مہمان اعزاز پروفیسر علامہ محمد یوسف خان  نے اپنے خصوصی خطاب میں حاضرین مجلس کے سامنے منبر ومحراب کے کردار کی اہمیت کو خوب اجاگر کیا، مساجد کی اہمیت کے ساتھ ساتھ عوام الناس کی روز مرہ کے معاملات میں پیش آمدہ مسائل کے حل کے لیے سیرت نبوی کی روشنی میں جائزہ بھی پیش کیا، اس کے ساتھ ہی منبر و محراب کے کردار کے لیے حاضرین کو کئی تجاویز بھی دیں جس کی روشنی میں ایک مثالی معاشرے کا قیام عمل میں لایا جاسکتا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ خالق لم یزل نے خود بیت اللہ کا جو مقصد قرآن کریم میں بیان کیا بلا شبہ وہ ہی مقصد ہر مسجد کا ہے وہ ہے تمام عالم کی ہدایت، چونکہ ہر مسجد اللہ کا گھر ہے اور ہدایت، خیر وبھلائی کا اصل سر چشمہ ہے، مسجد سے عقائد وافکار کی اصلاح ہوتی ہے، اور صبح سے شام پانچ وقتہ اللہ تعالی کے گھر سے تعلق در حقیقت انفرادی و اجتماعی اصلاح و تعمیر میں غیر معمولی کردار ادا کرتا ہے، مسجد سے تعلق ظاہری و باطنی، جسمانی وروحانی، طہارت و تطہیر کا باعث ہے، اسی طرح مسجد رب تعالی کی رحمت وفضل اور برکت کے حصول کا کلیدی مرکز ہے، مسجد مساوات، اخوت، ہمدردی، باہمی تعاون، اتحاد و اتفاق، اخلاق حسنہ، باہمی الفت و محبت، رواداری، عفو و درگزر، تحمل و برداشت، احترام وتکریم، کو جنم دیتی ہے اور امتیازی سلوک، بری عادات، منفی سوچ، اور دیگر تمام تر معاشرتی برائیوں کا جڑ سے قلع وقمع کرتی ہے، مسجد وقت کی پابندی، نظم وضبط، اجتماعی امور اور اطاعت امیر جیسے اہم امور کی تربیت کے فرائض سر انجام دیتی ہے، مسجد دراصل اشاعت علم، درس قرآن و حدیث اور تعلیم وتربیت کی اولین درسگاہ ہے جو معاشرے کے ہر فرد کی انفردی واجتماعی حقوق کی ادائیگی، معاملات کی شفافیت اور فکری ونظری تربیت کرتی ہے۔
