Security System Division is one of the biggest department of IUB. It has strength of 420 security officials. System is being run by the Chief Security officer. University has authorized Security officers at Bahawalpur, Rahimyar khan and Bahawalnagar Campuses as well. Security is maintained in shifts divided into three groups i.e. Morning, Evening and Night shifts. Each shift is headed by a supervisor who is responsible to report to the Chief Security Officer.

Over a period of time, the Security System Division, IUB has become very efficient and professional entity. With the blessing of Almighty Allah, IUB has become a safe and secure place for students and employees at present.
