Directorate of women Health & Maternity Home (WHCC&MH) the islamia University of bahawalpur was approved by syndicate in year 2022 to serve the female population whether indoor or outdoor community in order to provide all the basic health services in future. Women population in Pakistan is increasing day by day (49% of total population). Universities have huge number of girl’s strength but health concern regarding women is neglected a lot in our region. Similarly, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has 60% of female students, huge number of female employees and families of the male employees. Keeping the importance of Women’s Health, it’s very important to play a key role in the society which is either in the form of a student, researchers, scientists, employee/housewives. Healthy women reflect a healthy family and community. Women's health refers to the branch of medicine that focuses on the treatment and diagnosis of diseases and conditions that affect a woman's physical and emotional well-being.

I will remain committed to this work because I believe in reproductive freedom. A freedom I know Every Person deserves. Our center is a place where females can feel free to talk about every kind of health concern. People of many generations, people of many racial backgrounds, with various stories and income levels, identities and lives are welcome here. No one is too old or too inexperienced. Starting with our clinical services (Gyneacological, Diagnostic/Ultrasonography, Childcare & other services) which have always been the heart of our mission, we pledge to further strengthen our inclusivity. But in keeping with our commitment to reproductive justice, we will also fight across other issues that impact the communities we serve. We at Directorate of WHCC & MH aim at fostering mutually beneficial relations with all our stake holders as a means to provide preventive services for all form of cancers, cervical cancers etc. We are not going to prioritize one group of patients over another. We are determined to keep our doors open for all. We are not going to retreat. We will stay united.

I am honored to have been asked to take on this challenge of leading our efforts. And now as I start this new assignment as a Director (WHCC & MH), advancing this vision forward alongside all of you. We take pride in the exceptional care we provide to our patients. Here women have their own comfortable, calm space to feel empowered and encouraged to embrace wellness. For decades, I’ve been taking care of generations of women, mothers, daughters and granddaughters. I believe that women’s primary care should be different. I believe that wellness encompasses mind, body and soul and this Directorate will give you advice, line of treatment using my philosophy and my expertise as a Director and a consultant obstetrician and a gynaecologist.
