Prominent social and literary figure Syed Tabish Alwari met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has said that the university is playing an important role in local socio-economic development along with teaching and research. Being a historical university, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur also holds a unique position in promoting local civilization, traditions, culture and literature. The Vice Chancellor expressed these views during a meeting with prominent social and literary figure Syed Tabish Alwari in his office. The Vice Chancellor appreciated Syed Tabish Alwari’s friendship with knowledge and his long-standing connection and attachment to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Syed Tabish Alwari said that the Vice Chancellor took charge of the university in very difficult circumstances. The continuation of teaching and research activities and the promotion of co-curricular activities, especially in the face of financial difficulties, are very welcome. On this occasion, Syed Tabish Alwari presented his Book Sarkar Du’Alam (Peace Be Upon Him) to the Vice Chancellor.

بہاولپور (پ ر) پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ تدریس و تحقیق کے ساتھ ساتھ مقامی سماجی و معاشی ترقی میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کررہی ہے۔ تاریخی جامعہ ہونے کے ناطے مقامی تہذیب و تمدن، روایات، ثقافت اور ادب کی ترویج کے لیے بھی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور منفرد مقام رکھتی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے ان خیالات کا اظہار ممتاز سماجی و ادبی شخصیت سید تابش الوری سے اپنے دفتر میں ایک ملاقات کے موقع پر کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے سید تابش الوری کی علم دوستی اور جامعہ اسلامیہ سے دیرینہ تعلق اور لگاؤ کو سراہا۔ سید تابش الوری نے کہا کہ وائس چانسلر نے جامعہ کو بہت مشکل حالات میں سنبھالا۔ خصوصا مالی مشکالات میں تدریسی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کا تسلسل اور ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں کا فروغ بہت خوش آئند ہے۔ اس موقع پر سید تابش الوری نے وائس چانسلر کو اپنی تصنیف سرکار دوعالم ﷺکا نسخہ پیش کیا۔
