The University College of Art and Design at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized an awareness session to commemorate World Consumer Rights Day 2025. The event aimed to educate students about their rights as consumers and promote responsible consumption practices. More than 70 students participated in the interactive session, which featured discussions, presentations, and activities focused on consumer rights and responsibilities. The event provided a platform for students to engage with experts and peers, sharing experiences and gaining insights into the importance of informed consumption. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi, Principal University College of Art and Design, emphasized the significance of consumer awareness, saying, as responsible citizens, it is essential for us to understand our rights and responsibilities as consumers. This awareness session is a step towards empowering our students to make informed choices and promote a culture of responsible consumption. The event was part of the University College of Art and Design's ongoing efforts to promote social awareness and responsibility among its students. By observing World Consumer Rights Day, the university reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of informed consumption and civic engagement.

بہاولپور (پ ر) یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام عالمی یوم صارف حقوق 2025 کی مناسبت سے ایک آگاہی سیشن کا انعقاد کیاگیا۔ تقریب کا مقصد طلباء کو بطور صارف ان کے حقوق کے بارے میں آگاہی دینا اور ذمہ دارانہ استعمال کے طریقوں کو فروغ دینا تھا۔ طلباؤ طالبات نے انٹرایکٹو سیشن میں حصہ لیا، جس میں صارفین کے حقوق اور ذمہ داریوں پر توجہ مرکوز کرنے والی گفتگو، پیشکشیں اور سرگرمیاں شامل تھیں۔ اس تقریب نے طلباء کو ماہرین اور ساتھیوں کے ساتھ مشغول ہونے، تجربات کا اشتراک کرنے اور باخبر استعمال کی اہمیت کے بارے میں بصیرت حاصل کرنے کا ایک پلیٹ فارم فراہم کیا۔ اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن ڈاکٹر فرحانہ الطاف قریشی نے صارفین کی آگاہی کی اہمیت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایک ذمہ دار شہری کی حیثیت سے ہمارے لیے یہ ضروری ہے کہ ہم بطور صارف اپنے حقوق اور ذمہ داریوں کو سمجھیں۔ یہ آگاہی سیشن طلباء کو باخبر انتخاب کرنے اور ذمہ دارانہ استعمال کے کلچر کو فروغ دینے کے لیے بااختیار بنانے کی جانب ایک قدم ہے۔ یہ تقریب یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن کی اپنے طلباء میں سماجی بیداری اور ذمہ داری کو فروغ دینے کے لیے جاری کوششوں کا حصہ تھی۔ صارفین کے حقوق کے عالمی دن کو منا کر، یونیورسٹی نے باخبر کھپت اور شہری مشغولیت کے کلچر کو فروغ دینے کے اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔
