IUB celebrates 75 years of diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China.

The celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the great friendly neighboring country and iron brother, the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, have begun at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The celebrations, held on the instructions of the Punjab government, include flag hoisting, research conducted in collaboration with China at the university, stamp and coin design competitions and essay writing competitions. On the first day of the celebrations, the flags of China and Pakistan will be hoisted at the Abbasia campus and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Registrar Muhammad Shaji ur Rahman, and faculty members recited the Pakistani and Chinese national anthems. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran said that Pak-China friendship is evergreen and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on May 21, 1951. China has helped Pakistan in every field. The CPEC project is the flagship project of both countries. Similarly, the Gwadar Port and the defense industrial cooperation between the two countries are also a shining example. China, proving itself to be a sincere friend and neighbor in the recent Indo-Pak war, supported Pakistan in every way and Pakistan was victorious. In connection with the anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations, the Abbasia campus building has been decorated with red and green lights and the flags of both countries. The committee formed for these celebrations includes Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Syed Aamir Sohail, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages, Professor Dr. Muhammad Atif, Director ORIC, Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi, Principal of the University College of Art and Design, Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Director of Press Media and Public Relations, Dr. Adnan Bukhari, Additional Director of Students Affairs, Dr. Abid Shahzad, Director of International Linkages and Convener, Dr. Muhammad Khalid Sheikh, Executive Secretary to Vice Chancellor and Arshad Bhatti, Secretary.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں عظیم دوست ہمسایہ ملک اور آئرن برادرعوامی جمہوریہ چین اور اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان کے سفارتی تعلقات کے قیام کے 75 برس مکمل ہونے پر تقریبات کا آغاز ہو گیا۔ حکومت پنجاب کی ہدایت پر ہونے والی تقریبات میں پرچم کشائی، جامعہ میں چین کے تعاون سے ہونے والی ریسرچ ، ڈاک ٹکٹ اور سکے کے ڈیزائن کے مقابلے اور مضمون نویسی کے مقابلے شامل ہیں۔ تقریبات کے پہلے روز عباسیہ کیمپس میں چین اور پاکستان کے پرچم لہرائے گے اور وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران، رجسٹرار محمد شجیع الرحمن، اور فیکلٹی ممبران نے پاکستانی اور چینی قومی ترانہ پڑھا۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا کہ پاک چین دوستی سدا بہار ہے اور دونوں ملکوں کے سفارتی تعلقات 21 مئی 1951 میں قائم ہوئے۔ چائنہ نے ہر شعبے میں پاکستان کی مدد کی۔ سی پیک منصوبہ دونوں ملکوں کا فلیگ شپ پراجیکٹ ہے۔ اسی طرح گوادر پورٹ اور دونوں ملکوں کا دفاعی صنعتی تعاون بھی ایک روشن مثال ہے۔ چین نے حالیہ پاک بھارت جنگ میں ایک مخلص دوست اور ہمسایہ ہونے کا ثبوت دیتے ہوئے پاکستان کا ہر طرح سے ساتھ دیا اور پاکستان کو فتح نصیب ہوئی۔ چین پاکستان سفارتی تعلقات کی سالگرہ کے سلسلے میں عباسیہ کیمپس کی عمارت کو سرخ اور سبز روشنیوں اور دونوں ملکوں کے جھنڈوں سے سجایا گیا ہے۔ ان تقریبات کے لیے بنائی گئی کمیٹی میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سید عامر سہیل ڈین فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ لینگویجز، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عاطف ڈائریکٹر اورک، ڈاکٹر فرحانہ الطاف قریشی پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن، ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد ڈائریکٹر پریس میڈیا اینڈ پبلک ریلیشنز، ڈاکٹر عدنان بخاری ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز، ڈاکٹر عابد شہزاد ڈائریکٹر انٹرنیشنل لنکجزو کنوینئر، ڈاکٹر محمد خالد شیخ ایگزیکٹو سیکرٹری وائس چانسلراور ارشد بھٹی سیکرٹری شامل ہیں۔
