IUB conducted an art exhibition at the University College of Arts and Design to mark International Women's Day 2025

According to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the female faculty, employees, and students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur are celebrating International Women's Day in a dignified manner. In this regard, various departments are organizing events in all campuses under the direction of Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. An exhibition of artworks created by faculty and students was held at the University College of Art and Design. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran was the chief guest on this occasion. Faculty and students from nine different educational institutions of Bahawalpur participated in the exhibition of artworks created on the theme of International Women's Day. On this occasion, a video documentary, namely Iron Ladies of Bahawalpur, was also inaugurated. The students set up stalls of beautiful handmade souvenirs. The University College of Art and Design is also participating in a beautiful wall painting activity in collaboration with the Parks and Horticulture Authority Bahawalpur. On this occasion, Principal University College of Art and Design Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi gave a detailed briefing on the activities being held in the college on the occasion of International Women's Day and said that apart from teachers and students, women from Bahawalpur are actively participating in these activities. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Director Takmeel Square Dr. Qaisra, social leader Amber Tansir and other women were also present.

بہاولپور (پ ر) خواتین کے عالمی دن کے سلسلے میں وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کے ویژن کے مطابق اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی خواتین اساتذہ، ملازمین اور طالبات بھرپور طریقے سے تقریبات منارہی ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں وائس چانسلراسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی ہدایت پر تمام کیمپسز میں مختلف شعبہ جات تقریبات منعقد کررہے ہیں۔ یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن میں فیکلٹی اور طلبا ؤ طالبات کے بنائے ہوئے فن پاروں کی نمائش منعقد ہوئی۔ اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ خواتین کے عالمی دن کے تھیم پر بنائے گئے فن پاروں کی نمائش میں بہاولپور کے نو مختلف تعلیمی اداروں سے اساتذہ اور طلبا و طالبات شریک ہوئے۔ اس موقع پر صف اول میں قیادت کرتی ہوئے آئرن لیڈیز آف بہاولپور کے نام سے ویڈیو ڈاکیومینٹری کا افتتاح بھی ہوا۔ طلبا و طالبات نے ہاتھوں سے بنائے ہوئے خوبصورت سوینئرز کے سٹالز بھی لگائے۔ یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن، پارکس اینڈ ہارٹیکلچر اتھارٹی بہاولپور کے اشتراک سے وال پینٹنگ کی خوبصورت سرگرمی میں بھی شریک ہیں۔ اس موقع پر پرنسپل یونیورسٹی کالج آف آرٹ اینڈ ڈیزائن ڈاکٹر فرحانہ الطاف قریشی نے خواتین کے عالمی دن کی مناسبت سے کالج میں ہونے والی سرگرمیوں پر تفصیلی بریفنگ دی اور کہا کہ اساتذہ اور طالبات کے علاوہ بہاولپور سے خواتین ان سرگرمیوں میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لے رہی ہیں۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز، تکمیل سکوئر کی ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر قیصرہ، سماجی رہنما امبر تنصیر اور دیگر خواتین بھی شریک تھیں۔
